[Shadowed Glass]

A small town was stationed within one of the deserts of Ishval, it was home to many families big and small. The town was quite poor and not in the best condition, this did not stop the people of the town from laughing.

Emi entered the town which she had come across on her travels through Ishval. She was suprised, but grateful when she found it as she was now completely out of water and very hungry. "Awww man..." She wined as she looked around, wondering where she could find food.

Resha walked around the town, hoping to find somewhere to eat. She had changed clothes before coming into town; the Ishvalans probably wouldn't appreciate a military personnel in their town anyway.

And she wasn't there for that purpose. She just wanted to take a breather.

After walking around for a few minutes Emi found a small cafe that served drinks as well as some small snacks. Walking in she found it to be quite full with children, but still sat herself down in the front corner and waited for someone to take her order.

Resha was worrying if she'd ever find one but after a few corners and asking of directions, she wounded up in a small cafe.

But it was full of people and there were no other seats except with a girl with black hair. She walked towards her table and smiled.

"Mind sharing a table?" she asked.

Emi looked up when she heard a voice. "Of course not! It means I get to talk more, yeps!" She smiled up to the girl standing before her and clapped her hands.

Resha grinned; it looked like the person she would be with is a happy and nice person, and for that, she's grateful.

She sat down and smiled at the girl. "Thanks! Nice to meet you. I'm Resha. You are?"

"No problems, it is quite busy here. Me is Emi, nice to meet yous Resha!" Emi waved to Resha then looked up when someone came over to take their order. "Ohh, can me have water and cookies! Please!" She then looked to Resha. "Yous want something??"

"It is, huh!" she grinned. "Nice to meet you, Emi!"

She looked at the person who was taking their order. He looked faint, and he was rather looking stressed. Probably with so many people today.

"I want cake!" she ended up saying, distracted. Cake was too good!

"Yeah! Very nice choice! Cake is super yummies!" Emi said as the person walked away through the groups of people who stood around the store. "Does yous have a favourite kind of cake?" Emi asked interested to know the answer.

She thought hard before answering. "Mhm! I like Chocolate Decadent the most," she answered. "I really like chocolate. They're yummy! How about you??" she asked. She was enjoying this conversation. :3

"Ohhh, that does sound yummy!" Emi said thinking of the chocolate cake before thinking about her own favourite. "Hmmm, me likes... Victoria sponge cake! It is super yummies!" Emi enjoyed being able to talk about such a yummy subject.

"Wow! I've never tried that! How does that taste?" she was curious. There were a lot of kinds of cakes but it was the first time she heard of a Victoria sponge cake. "Sounds fluffy," she admitted. But that only added to how delicious it seems. :3

"Hmm, it tastes super scrummy and sweet!" Emi nodded as she tried to remember the taste, but her bad memory made it kinda hard. "Hmm, I do believe it is fluffy!" She said and then began to laugh for no real reason.

She grinned at Emi's laughing, glad there was laughter ringing. "So, hey, Emi," she called out. "You're not Ishvalan, are you? If you're not, what are you doing here?" she blinked, curious.

Emi stopped laughing so she could answer Resha's question. "Nope, me isn't, me is here just exploring really. I love exploring! It also helps me gather information when I know areas quite well, mhm!" She looked towards Resha then became curious herself. "What about yous?"

"Wow! Really? So you travel a lot??" she asked, amazed. She never get to travel much. "Nya, I'm just here to take a break, that's all!" she grinned. "Work can get stuffy at times and so many things are going on. So! I decided to have fun a bit!"

"Yeps! Me likes travelling and it keeps me busy so I always have something to do! Yays!" Emi nodded as she listened to Resha's reason. "That is fair enough, everyone should have some fun and be able to get away for a while!"

"Ohh! Nice way of thinking!" she nodded. "It's nice to be that flexible. It's a good thing!" she looked up as a voice called out; a man came back with their orders. "Oh, yay!"

"Haha, thanks!" Emi said before turning to take their orders. "Thank yous!" She said to the man and handed Resha her cake while taking the water and cookies herself. "Mmmm, this looks so nice!"

"It does, doesn't it?" she smiled, looking at the cake and taking a bite from it with a fork. She hadn't had cake for a while! "So what's up? Before Ishval, where have you been?"

"So yummies!" Emi said as she began to eat, she was really hungry and didn't really pace her eating. "Before here I had been to Drachma to collect something." She said remembering the events.

[neon kun]

Resha continued to eat, stopping only to chew and stuffy. "Oh, I see! Drachma. I haven't been there," she said. She was really lacking on the travel department. "Sounds nice."

"It was kinda nice, and it gave me some good time to train." Emi said as she thought about something. "So have yous been anywhere recently?" Emi asked wondering if Resha had been anywhere.

[neon kun]

"Train? Oh, so you are a fighter?" she asked, tilting her head a bit. She straightened up soon after. "Oh, me? I don't really get to travel a lot. My work kinda doesn't let me out of Amestris much."

"Yeps! Me is! Me uses ice alchemy and nothing else!" Emi said, proud of her fighting style. "Awwws, well that is no fun! Yous should tell your work that yous want to travel, mhm!"
