"Well, chimeras are made to be utilized to help improve a situation - mostly on battle. So certainly, they will end up saving some for one side but killing on the other side," he said, then shook his head.

"No, which is why I told you, didn't I?" he smiled. "If someone so much hurt her, physically or in words, I wouldn't hesitate to kill them. And I would rather avoid that scenario."

He nodded. "Right. You keep doing that. Think things through. Focus on the good things." It's better to have some people still that way.

"An eye for a eye" Will said.

"I plan to be as great as a brother I can be for her." Will said. "Naturally, I can't top you. Blood is thicker then water. But, I still wanna be her brother." Will smiled. "And I highly doubt your gonna shoo me away when you return to Resha"

Will looked away, at the computer screen. "Im sure you've had your dark moments. But thats not important...." Will smiled wider. "Because your truly a nice guy. But confusing and secretive, but that doesn't change anything"

"Basically," he affirmed.

"I'm not going to stop you. She can't have her world revolve around me, after all. It's good that she's expanding her world, meeting people, making friends - even a brother," he said. "Ah, you probably won't go away anyway if I do," he laughed.

What he said made Zane blink and just laughed, not up to an argument about him being nice or not. Because really, he was the last person to be called nice.

Resha's eyesight was still a bit blurry but she could see a little. Going here was a risk but she was just informed by the military that this place had information on chimera experimentation.

And she needed that. Fumbling through the semi-darkness, she went down, towards the secret lab.

Will smiled when he saw Zane smiling. The water from the underground lake? He felt someone step in it, since he had that close of a bond to water.

"Someones coming" Will said. The person felt familiar. He noticed a air duct in the roof.

"You can use that to hide, or get out of here." The book that Will let Zane read disappeared into Will's hands. "Im not done here yet."

Will looked around for a hiding spot. He noticed a pile of boxes with notes in them. He hid within the pile, balancing a box on his head, so it looked like no one was even in the pile

He looked up. Seriously? But he found ways to get up to the vent shaft, and decided to hide. He could've easily left but curiosity got the better part of him.

Will thought about what he had came for. He thought, and he thought, then he thought some more. He came out of his hiding place and jumped into the vent using the boxes. He crawled away from Zane, and eventually found a way out. He was finished for the day.

Resha walked in the lab, seeing all the other dead chimeras littered and several doors. She came across two doors and chose the blue one, only because it reminded her of her brother.

And eventually, she got in. And she felt dread. "Big brother..."

He was quite shocked to say the least to see her of all people. Will already left too so how was he to handle this situation?

Really. I should've just left. I really should've... tch, fine. Good I stayed. This place is dangerous.

"Why is it... that I feel like big brother is here somewhere..." she sighed to herself. I'm imagining things I want to see... again...
"And I even told myself I wouldn't go off finding him too.." she clasped her hands together. "Well! I should find the documents and then go back to the lab at the base!" she smiled happily.

She found them not long after, and smiled sadly. More chimera... experimentation...

He was really unsure of what to do. The risk of her seeing him gets higher by the minute. He could easily leave but as if he would leave her alone in a place so dangerous. Not when she can't fight.

So he threw a random stone or whatever it was to a different direction to distract her attention.

Resha blinked, and jumped a little, surprised to hear a disturbance. Oh no, I certainly hope no chimeras jump out at me! I'd be dead! D:

But she followed the sound, nevertheless :O

"What am I doiiiiiiiiiiiiing," she scolded herself.

Renee was asked to make sure that Resha wasn't harmed on her mission. Too bad she got the orders late.

"Damn Military men! You tell me what to do right when it needs to be done, not 10 or 5 minutes later!"

She was told 30 minutes later.

Renee walked through the red side into the fire. Luckily, her guns were heat resistant. Se poped out of the room and noticed someone aways away. She walked up and placed her arm across her chest.

"I am Renee Menorah. I am here under the assignment to watch over Resha. Are you her?"

Zane sighed. Resha was a hopeless one, but just as he was about find a way to get her out of here, a girl arrived saying she was there to watch over Resha.

She looked serious, and was wearing military uniform so he relaxed a bit. What the hell, they must've given the assignment late - she doesn't even know who she'll bodyguard.

Resha turned back, hearing someone call her name. Tilting her head, she blinked, and was surprised to see a very pretty girl in front of her.

Seeing her uniform, and her words registering in her mind, she gave a salute and then bowed. "I am Resha," she smiled. "I didn't know I was assigned to be watched over."

Renee glanced to the ducts to spy Zane. She decided to ignore him and return to Resha.

"I apologize. The numskulls at base gave me my assignment 30 minutes late, and didn't even bother giving me a picture of you. Anywho-"

A chimera pounced at Renee from behind. She pulled out her weapon "The Shredder", and unleashed a 500 bullet rain of furry upon the creature, the corpse bloody and tattered.

"Damn rouge chimera's. Anywho, I'll be your bodyguard from here on in."

Zane raised at an eyebrow at Renee. "Well," he muttered to himself. "If she can keep her safe then that's just fine with me."

However, the moment she even let a scratch on her, I will not be forgiving.

She smiled at her and bowed in gratitude. "Thank you very much for keeping me safe," she grinned happily.

The moment a chimera jumped out, she was able to keep both of them safe, making Resha feel safer. "Teehee, you're really good."

"But please be careful, I've just read that they are highly toxic, if ever you get bitten."

Renee nodded, putting her gun away.

"Got it."

She pulled out a pistol and placed it in Resha's hands.

"I know your not a fighter or anything, but carry it in case. Even a master gunner can be outmatched, and you need something to maybe defend yourself with."

Renee smiled. "But I'll risk limbs to keep you in one piece ^^"

He sighed in relief. She looked like she's serious enough to keep her safe and somehow risked it to let Resha be safe with her.

And with that, he left, getting out through the vent shafts. He stayed long enough; he had to go back and give what he came for and get his pay.

[Zane said he's out, by the way!]

Resha took the gun in her hands, holding it with ease. It was easy enough; it wasn't the first time she held a gun. Using it, however, was the hard part. Even if she had, she probably wouldn't be able to use it. But at the very least, it wouldn't hurt to trust a miracle that she would be able to.

She smiled at her, grateful. "Thank you!"

Renee pulld out a giant black box like thing. She pulled one out of the Shredder, and placed the other within, clicking it into place. She then proceeded to polish her Sniper rifle.

"And if you wanna talk, im here"

Resha nodded, thanking her and browsed through the documents. Her eyesight waned from time to time, still not fully recovering her sense of sight.

"Oh, wow," she muttered to herself when she read detailed reports on how to make chimeras; most were failed experiments but from failures come successes.

She looked around, there were enough equipment in here. Most were usable. Silently, she contemplated whether she would have to create them in here or just back at the base.

"Ne, Renee," she started, as she started writing drafts on a scratch paper. "I've heard a bit about you; you're very skilled. But what do you think about working for the Military? We say that human chimeras should not be created but I currently head in the making of them."
