Sewers

Kyte walked through the sewers looking for the man he had saw the man running towards him so he pulled out his daggers and finally killed the man but a whole bunch of soldiers then surrounded him. "dang! now i have no way out!" Kyte said forgetting he was a earth alchemist.

Lightning trailed on the walls, shocking the soldiers till they fainted. He then walked up to Kyte. "Cutting it a little close arent you?"

"heh heh heh yeah i guess but i needed to kill this man anyways thanks for helping me again. so should we go back to your cottage?" Kyte asked Kotaro

"Follow me." He said walking away.

Kyte followed him (too bad i can't rp in your guys paren'ts cottage 4 people there now)

Leon arrived to see his friend Monty. Shouting to Monty " GIVE ME A LONG SWORD." Leon grabbed the sword and left. Leaving Monty confused.

The sewers. There should have been a better way to do this. But no, of course not. They could never make things easy for her could they?? At least this tunnel was dry. A few that she had walked by looked like rough going, and slogging through muck and mystery liquid was not her idea of a good time.

Dwyrin had the pack she always brought with her for this sort of thing, but it was unusually heavy today. Understandable. Swinging it off her shoulder, she took out the schematic provided, and looked it over. At least she was still going in the right direction.

Ace followed Dwyrin. He didn't like being in the sewers but at least he was with a woman. Dark, scary tunnels are a good place to be in these situations. Well, maybe not. In fact, definitely not. Ace was starting to get scared.

"What exactly was our plan again, Dwyrin?"

[SamSeven]

Dwyrin sighed and looked up from the map. "You weren't paying attention for the whole explanation, were you?? Simply put; we're supposed to come up under that building and blow it to smithereens."

She folded the map and slipped it back into her pocket. "You did bring the thing, right??" By 'thing' she meant "bomb".

"Yeah, yeah, I got the bomb," Ace said as he followed her through the sewers. He didn't like sewers. They were dark and dank and lame. He had been walking for a while now, too. He was tired. This was not enjoyable for him.

"So the plan was what?"

[SamSeven]

She threw him an exasperated look over her shoulder and kept walking. It was hard enough trying to find the way through here without having to repeat herself over and over.

They crossed through a few intersections before she turned to Ace, scratching her head a bit. "Do you have any idea where it is??"

"It's above us," Ace said unhelpfully. He'd created the bomb and brought it with them. He'd kind of assumed Sam knew where they were going.

"Um, why don't we just check above us?"

[SamSeven]

"So it is," she answered in suprisingly good humor. This was why she liked having Ace around. He helped put things in perspective.

She looked around and saw a couple ways up, then turned to her companion. "How do you propose we do that?? We can't just pop up in the wrong spot."

"We'll be very careful. And if we get caught, we have a bomb!" Ace reasoned as he climbed up a ladder and poked his head through the manhole. He found that it was very dark and that was about it.

[SamSeven]

A bomb that shouldn't be wasted if it's all it's cracked up to be.

Before she could finishe the thought, Ace was up the ladder and out of sight. "What do you see??" she whispered at him.

"Nothing," Ace answered as he looked into the darkness. "It's just very dark."

Ace crawled into the room and saw he had enough room to move and there didn't seem to be anyone around.

Dwyrin walked closer to the ladder and felt a rush of fresh air hit her. It was wonderful. She climbed up with more speed than she would have used, had she not been in a smelly, damp, stagnant tunnel - and ran into Ace.

"Ouch. Sorry. Light. We need light," she told him, shaking out the hand she had smashed into his shoe.

Ace laughed at Dwyrin's smooth moves and then looked around the room. "Um," he put his hand out and found a smooth wall to his touch. He meandered against it for a while. "I can't find a light switch."

[SamSeven]

She stood and put both her arms out in front of her and started groping around for a wall. I bet I look like a zombie. The thought made her smile and she quickened her steps.

After what seemed like a very long walk for a room that didn't echo, she ran into a wall and eventually found a light switch. Flicking it on revealed Ace doing a half-zombie-walk along the opposite wall. The room was bare except for the dingy lightbulb hanging from the ceiling and a barred door to her right.

"Ok. We are... I have no idea where we are. Maybe this is the right place, then??"

Ace studied the empty room. He carefully examined its objects before nodding and speaking to himself. "Yes, yes, I do believe," he said after a moment. "That this is a Janitor's closet."

[SamSeven]

A janitors closet with a barred door?? Must be the right place.

"That's what I like to hear!" She took another map out of her bag and gave it a quick perusal. "If this is the right building, then the perfect place to put it shouldn't be too far."

"You explain this room then. They're probably worried about custodial goods theft," Ace explained. "It's very common back at the Apartments. Interesting side note, I like to borrow our customers window cleaners and stuff."

Ace kicked the door open then jumped away from it and got in a karate pose. "So, what should we do?"

[SamSeven]

Dwyrin resisted the urge to face-palm, but couldn't help laughing a little at the mans blatant, but mostly harmless thievery. She made a mental note to hide the bar's mop and floor cleaner when they returned.

She poked her head into the hallway then calmly pulled it back in and turned to Ace. "We run, unless you've got a better idea" she said as if there were not soldiers charging toward the door.
