Maria sat on the top of the hill, clutching her chest, breathing heavily. Spiders freaked her out. She just couldn't stand them. She backed up more as bigger spiders got closer, some the size of their heads. They pounced at Emi to attack.

"Emi!!!"

"Hmmm!" Emi lookd around unsure of what was happening, the flashlight had been dropped so that was no help and she didn't know where exactly Maria was either. "This isn't good.."

Gunfire was heard. The spiders scattered, and a big spider was dead before Emi. The voice that spoke sounded familiar.

"I told you to be careful."

Emi blinked. "Huh??" She hadn't seen what had happened and was still confused, all she had heard was the gun shot. She looked around and tried to figure out who had fired and where Maria was.

He turned on a electric lamp. It was the potato farmer. The light was bright enough to see quite alot, including the dead spider in front of Emi, and the poison seeping out of it.

"Quickly, back over here." He said to Emi.

"Ohh, heyas!" She said waving to the potato farmer, she looked at the spider and jumped. "So cools!" Emi loved spiders, though, she didn't like loud noises so she was still shaken up from the gun shot. She turned around and made her way over to the farmer.

"The spiders in this forest would have killed you both. Thats why no one enters this forest."

He pumped his shotgun. The spiders were still advancing.

"We must go. Now!"

He grabbed both their hands and ran out of the forest.

"Ohhh, well that makes sense. They is still cools though, yays!" Emi looked around to see more spiders and then was suddenly pulled out of the forest and back to the town with Maria.

Maria was glad to be out of that forest. After seeing that spider, all she wanted to do was get out of there.

"T-thank you so much....."

The farmer released their hands.

"Don't thank me. It was pure luck I was there at that time."

"Well then we must thank luck!" Emi said, laughing. She never really took anything seriously and this was no exception. Emi looked around the town and noticed that it was still quite dark, she wondered what they would do.
