He simply shrugged, obviously not getting to him. "First of all, I'm her clone..."

Dante's eyes narrowed. "A male clone of her. I thought I destroyed them all." He glared at Takashi. "Anything else?"

"I was cloned elsewhere. After I was able to get a mind of my own, I killed everyone there and escaped with files on the person I was cloned from..." he looked down.

Dante stood still. "Alright, two things. First, are there any more of them? Second, where is she and why did you take her?"

Takashi shook his head. "No, I was the only one. They didn't clone anymore because they wanted to test me first to see if I was good enough."

He kept his gaze to the ground. "I just wanted to get to know about her.... and maybe about myself...." he said feeling empty and hollow.

Dante glared at him. "Then why kidnap her? And where is she?"

Takashi then felt an emotion he never felt: shame. His eyes narrowed sadly as he just sighed. "Put away your gun first." he said.

Dante hesitated, then placed the gun to his side. "It stays out till I know where she is."

Takashi nodded before starting to walk in a direction, to the outskirts of town.
