Job: A writer and scientist for civilians, she researches medicines through Alchemy for benign purposes.

Power/Weapon: Asrielle knows a few alchemy abilities, generally revolving around the manipulation of earth and plants to suit her benefit, such as altering the properties of plants to create medicines, and changing the shape or consistency of rocks to create a weapon or knock an enemy off balance. However, she is still learning, and knows very little alchemy with destructive tendencies.

Personality: Ana (Asrielle) is generally a very calm, quiet girl who tends to be very kind and helpful on approach, but has always had a knack for getting into strange situations due to her natural curiosity. She has a dedicated love for books of all flavors (except romance), and adores the smell of old libraries. Asrielle doesn't usually like to be called by her full name, and will often introduce herself as Ana to lead others astray from her family heritage. Although naturally kind, Ana often refrains from creating strong friendships, feeling that it would lead her astray from her studies.

Physical Description: Asrielle often wears reading glasses while studying, but doesn't pull them out when she is in danger because of the high price it is to replace them. Ana doesn't like to show it, she has a small limp in her left leg due to past injuries, and is incredibly sensitive when anyone touches her ribs. There are small injuries and fractured bones, but she knows that they are temporary, and will heal with time. Asrielle also has an obsessive compulsive disorder, forcing her to complete tasks with no mistakes, and become aggravated with misspellings. (In signs, books, and even your posts!)

History: Asrielle is from the center of Amestris, and comes from a rich family that sheltered her through most of her childhood. She was raised like a noble ( also an only child), and taught to think of herself above other people. Nonetheless, the attitude could never stay as she noticed the injured people from the war around her. Ana studied alchemy in secret, hoping to better herself to help others, and maybe one day learn a way to end the war and send her home into another age of peace. After her mother passed away from a peculiar disease, her father had become depressed, blaming Ana for his failure to create a cure for his wife (believing that the time he spent with her had wasted his chance in saving his wife). Ana soon left her hometown, leaving on a train for Ishval where she had heard that people would need her help (and that there would be less authorities that would recognize her and bring her home,).

Other: Asrielle's only living relative is her father Aden York Anahita who lives alone after his daughter ran away. Ana resents him because of his cruel treatment, and often rubs her ribs when she thinks of him. She does get along well with the residents of Ishval despite her love for alchemy, often treating wounded and sick, and helping teach the young to pay for her stay.
