"Of course not," she said, offended, "I'm not some weirdo."

She looked over to Keixth. He was in a daze...or something. Maybe too much gin... She slid his cup away from him - so he didn't spill it if he fell asleep on the bartop or whatever, and ended up filling a glass for herself.

Zane laughed. "Sorry, sorry," he smiled. "I didn't mean to offend. I was just surprised. But I guess it wasn't enough basis to say that, yeah?"

He watched as she snatched the glass from Keixth - the kid seemed sleepy, not really replying. "Still just a kid," he murmured to himself, smiling.

"One more glass?" he asked Dwyrin.

"It's alright." Dwyrin softened her tone. "Pork's just not my thing."

"Only one more??" She glanced at Keixth while filling Zane's cup. A slightly worried look crossed her features. "He's not actually underage, is he?? Not that I mind serving him..."

Zane smiled. "I see. What is your food preference then?"

He looked at her and said he'll have some more later. "Hm," he saw her worried look and glanced at Keixth who still seemed dazed out. "He says he's not."

After a long sip from her glass, she said simply, "Noodles."

She rested her elbows on the bar and put her chin in her hands, smiling. "But I wasn't asking him, was I??"

He was glad he finished drinking when she answered as he laughed slightly. "Noodles?"

Smiling, he shook his head. "Quite right," he said and glanced at the kid. "He's 19 - I don't know if in Xing that's legal," he then looked back at her. "In my terms though, anyone's fine to drink whenever as long as they can handle it - and the consequence of getting drunk, if or when it happens."

She nodded. "Noodles."

As he answered, she finished her glass.

"He looks young to be in the military. That's actually why I asked," she admitted.

He asked for another glass.

"Ah," he thought for a while. "State alchemist, that kid." He said. It was nothing to hide, anyway. "We'll see how he'll fare in the military in time."

She looked around the room. Her words had been a joke, but perhaps it was true. Nobody else worked up here. And kegs were heavy.

"anyway I'm finished, I was suppose to study on my alchemy. Thanks for the drinks, Dwy" Keitxh stood up and left some money on the bar.

Ace woke up and looked around the lobby of his Apartment complex.

Ace heard the crashing sound and ran over to help Dwyrin up. "My lady, have you been harmed?"

He glanced over at Zane and gave him a hearty head nod that conveyed a good morning chum without being overly friendly, yet hinted at the idea that they would soon have a promising friendship. And it took skill.

She let Ace help her up and rubbed the back of her head. "I'm not. Thanks." Even through her slight dizzyness, she noticed Ace's skillful nod, and looked to see who he was nodding at. "'Morning."
