I have a few suggestions dealing with Registrations. They are below

-Alchemy Element-
I feel that people should be allowed to use all elements including fire. I respect that you guys only let one type of alchemy per person. ALLOW ME TO CLAIRFY. I think you guys should continue to only allow say Ice alchemy to one person and stuff, but I also think you should allow the element fire to be enterred in the site. As long as they do not try to manipulate it like Roy Mustang's

-Cannon Characters-
I totally agree with your guys decision on not allowing people to have contact with cannon characters from the true Full Metal Alchemist show. I also feel that people should be allowed to be related to the characters and take some of their physical apperance, but at certain rules. They should have to be far back in the line of relation with the cannon character. Let me clarify. Say I was related to Roy Mustang, but the only way I could be related to him was if he was my great great grandparent. So that there would be certain ties to the person but not many and not that strong.

Concerning fire alchemy: Not controlling it like Roy Mustang means no control at all. He was the master of fire. Besides, everyone wants that one and it gets messy after a while.

Canon Characters: The story never explicitly stated that anyone got together except Ed and Winry. There were hints at other relationships (Al/Mei, etc.) but Ed/Winry is the only canon couple aside from Sig and Izumi Curtis. All offspring would be limited to their children (two as of the final page of the manga) and that leaves very few options for descendants. It's simpler to just nix that option altogether.

besides, everyone would want to be a descendant of those two. that'll just end up messy, really. turning everyone to be a relative of... everyone.
