Military V.I.P. Mansion

Kairo waited in a nearby tree as the guard shift changed for the fith time. He had been hired to assassinate the lieutenant staying inside the mansion. Kairo waited till the guard was out of sight, then ran to the wall. He easily scaled the wall. A soldier was on the other side of the wall, smoking. This will be easier than I thought if all the guards are like this. he thought.

Kotaro sighed. This Lieutenant was a snob. These guards were lazy, and too relaxed. Just because this lieutenant had accomplished something big, he thought he was immortal. Idiot. Kotaro thought. Kotaro walked through the hallway, hating this new job.

[Kinai]

Kinai was in one of the guest rooms. The Lieutenant had him as a guest. "This is some what boring as he sits there in his military suit" He stands up and starts to head to the doors "Time for a little walk I guess" He exits the door and heads down the first long corridor
(Kinai is known as one of the higher ranking Lieutenants in military he is known as Lt. Takai. when undercover)

Kotaro continued down the hallway, wishing he had accepted the mission to Drachma. “This is way too boring.” he said quietly. As he turned the corner, he noticed a liuetenant appraching him. He looked vaguley familer.

[Kinai]

Kinai noticed kotaro but didn't want to blow his cover so he acted like he didn't know him "Good day" He states "If you don't mind me asking what is your business in this Building?"

[Zane]

Zane looked up at the mansion and saw the guards really lax. "Easy money," he smirked to himself. And assessed the surroundings before making a decision to move.

Kotaro mind was stirring as he looked at the lieutenant, but he answered calmly. “I've been hired to protect the most popular slob in the military. The lieutenant who quelled the uprising.” Kotaro tried to remember where he saw this man before.

[Kinai]

Kinai can feel that Kotaro's mind is astray but pays no attention to it. "You say he is the one who started this sensless war?" He states with no emotion in it "My time in the military and I never heard of that but thanks for the intel"

[Zane]

[he said quell. the lieutenant suppressed the uprising.]

Zane found it unbelievably boring to infiltrate the mansion. Big shot lieutenant would have a run for his money, for sure.

He hid when he saw two man talking at the end of the hall. He caught some of their words and found them suspicious. "Hm. Whatever happens to the lieutenant is outside my job description."

He walked away from them, trying to scout the place.

He stands there thinking for a moment "well if you don't mind I would like to talk to the Lieutenant"

[zane is into infiltration missions, so i am pretty sure he knows when he'd be noticed or not. i did say at the end of the hall, so i was pretty far away from you. very far.]

Kotaro followed the lieutenant. He knew he had seen him somewhere. He looked at the lieutenant puzzled. “I dont know what quelling an uprising in the west has to do with starting this war.” Kotaro's mind suddenly flashed. He looked one more time at the lieutenants face, then smiled.

[Kinai]

Kinai stops abruptly without turning he says "Can you take me to the Lieutenant's quarters?"

[Zane]

Zane took the stairs, seeing security ridiculously loose. "I took a boring job," he told himself. And saw a huge door. "Must be the lieutenant's room," he walked past it and went to the find the mansion's library. "But he doesn't have what I need."

Kotaro continued to smile. “I can, but first, tell me your business here....” Kotaro puts his hand on Godai, but doesnt take it out. “.....Kinai”

[Kinai]

He smiles slightly "That is confidential" He slowly puts his hand on his dagger he keeps under his belt on the front side of him

[Zane]

He entered the library, quite casually. If he had to kill to get the information he needs, then that's quite fine with him. You sign up as a guard, you should be aware of the consequences.

Slicing on the neck of the drowsy attendant, he briskly checked the records with the uprising. He was suspected of foul play. Zane sighed.
"I have better things to do," he muttered. Taking the records, he placed it in the inside pocket of his jacket. "Let's see what else could be valuable to me here."

Kotaro's smile faded. “There are over 80 guards in this mansion. My polearm skills are great, but I have seen you with those swords. I instead have a proposition for you.”

[Kinai]

"Go on I am listening" He says as he starts to walk again "Walk with me so we won't draw suspension"

[Zane]

Zane took out a book from a shelf and a passageway opened. How... predictable and clichéd.

He entered the passageway and it closed as he got in. "Well," he took out a small flashlight. "I'm always prepared for whatever." He ventured in.

“I am not a fan of this guy myself, but I need the money. I know when a meeting between 3 top lietenants are, INCLUDING this one. Help me defend this bastard till dawn, and I'll tell youthe date, location, and time.” Kotaro kept his hand on Godai, just in case it didnt fly.

[Kinai]

He laughs slightly at his proposal "Why would I wait for that?" He continued down the hall "When I could kill the Lieutenant now and find papers on where the military officer meetings will be held?"

“Because he hasnt heard about it yet.” Kotaro motioned outside. “There is a messenger who just left and gave me the info. Theres no paperwork, its too confidential.”
