The note said this.

"Dear Tosh.

I truely regret what we have done in the past. What you said, about being punished for things of the past touched me. Your friend can be saved, but he's at the best prison there is. All I can give you is location, nothing more.

P.S. Your friends sacrificed everything for you, and they would do it again just for you. I admired them.

Tosh trembled when she read the last few parts of the note, remembering Fang's death. She bit her lip as she hugged her knees to her chest, her pain coming out as muffled cries. "I'll come for you Gio..... I promise!!"

Rei sat in a chair, book open in her hand but not being read. Rei sat in thought, staring out the window as she sorted out her thoughts. She sighed, accepting the fact that her thoughts were not going to come to order. She looked back down to her book and began reading.

She had made the mistake of walking by the bakery. Now, she had to go in. After browsing through the various delicious foods, she headed up the spiral staircase to the bookstore.

Tosh walked into the Bookstore, needing to tell Rei a lot of things. She glances at Kinai and walks over to the counter, smiling at Rei. "Hey, haven't seen you around for a while." Tosh looked very tired, like she hasn't slept for a while.

"Ishval?" Rei repeated quietly, surprised. "An Ishvalan fighting for the military?"

She looked over to Tosh and smiled, though concerned by her appearance. "It has been a while; I've had things to do. How have you been doing?"

Tosh looked down, she had to be completely honest. "Not really well..." she admitted with no shame. All that has happened yesterday completely changed her situation as of now.

"No means? What?" Rei asked, even more confused than before. She looked back to Tosh and frowned, closing her book and leaning forward. "What happened?"

Somehow, she had ended up sitting on the stairs for a while, eating donuts. Full once more, she stood and continued up the stairs. The store usually wasn't empty and it wasn't now. She saw Reion the other side of the room, looking confused as two people talked to her at once.

Tosh sighs before saying, "Fang died yesterday, Kotaro almost died but he lost his memory and he doesn't remember ANYTHING but me... and Will almost got executed yesterday by the military. I saved him from the Drachma Sky Prison and his farm and forest got burned to the ground... he's staying at my house." Tosh sighed, sitting down. She didn;t know what to do anymore really. "Now the military is after Will AND my butt..."

Rei stared at Kinai in confusion. "What in the world is he talking about?"

Rei covered her mouth with her hand as she listened to Tosh. "Oh my," was all she could say. So much had happened and she could hardly figure out where to begin.

In the silence Dwyrin strode across the room.

"Why so serious, over here??"

The hooded man walked out of the building across the street. He was accompanied by another hooded man and a hooded woman. All three wore the same white robe with the red stripe down the torso.
They had just left what to most people was just another tavern. In truth, it was Central's base for the assassin brotherhood.
"Signore Eltore, where do you leave to," the hooded woman asked one of the men.
"No where special. Just the bookstore," replied the man in front.
The other man spoke up. "Eltore, what of Mister Anderos?"
The man, presumably Eltore, stopped. His mouth was all that was visible of his face, and it was a pained frown. "Silenzio. Fang died as a proud assassin. You two, return to the brotherhood."
The other two hooded people nodded. "Si signore."

Eltore walked into the book store, for no reason other than to browse at the moment.

Tosh clenches the scarf of Fang's wrapped around her arm. She bit her lip before getting up out of the chair. She forgot to tell Resha and Will about Fang's death. She sighs before turning away. "I'll be back later to fill you in on more info... If you wanna give any flowers for Fang's grave, I'll deliver them for you." Tosh said solemnly, passing by Eltore.

Rei smiled at Dwyrin, though hardly with any amount of happiness. "Good to see you," she said softly. She watched Tosh leave, frustrated by her lack of knowledge, but knowing that Tosh would tell her in her own time.

She turned and faced the newcomer, a hooded man. "Just what I need now, a new customer in addition to the nutty old ones," she thought.

She watched Toshii leave, looking upset. And spotted an interesting looking person walking in. It had been a very long time since she had seen clothes like that.

Eltore noticed the scarf around the girl's arm, and instantly recognized it as Fang's. Signore Anderos...how you have gotten around...

He walked up to the owner of the store. His goals have now changed. Keeping an eye out for history books on the brotherhood aren't his #1 priority anymore. He's gotta find out what people knew of Fang Anderos.
"Buongiorno, signora. My name is Eltore Machiovelli. I noticed that little girl was wearing the scarf of one of my oldest friends. Fang Anderos. Could you tell me what you know of him," he asked, sounding 10 times more polite than Fang ever could.

"It's been an odd few minutes," Rei said to Dwyrin, scratching her head, somewhat embarrassed.

She turned to the hooded man and leaned back in her chair, arms and legs crossed. "Fang Anderos? He was a pain that dragged some of my friends into scrapes that left them permanently injured. Apart from that, I know not a thing," she said definitively. She looked at him, daring him to contradict her or, as was becoming habit in her shop, threaten her to get her true knowledge.
