Dante nodded. He lead her outside and closed the door. "Whats this about?"

Akio then noticed the tail and ears. "Ugh i'm guessing the military did this to you?" he asked after he drew a transmutation circle on his right hand with major difficulty and repaired his left arm. "I am kind of like er Dante i'm an ex state alchemist my name is Akio Nakamura yours?" He asked rying to be more polite he never really was that good at being polite.

Media nudged on Alpha and Prota. "And what do you make of this guy?" she asked in a whisper, sure he wouldn't hear her.

Resha followed. When they were outside she nodded at him. "How are you feeling?" she started slow. She wanted him to ease up before going for the big questions and stuff. :3

Media and Prota looked at him weird. And thought to themselves. And what does he call himseld?

She smiled at him. "Because it's good to tell others how you feel. You shouldn't bottle up emotions. Especially pain. I know I'm not really anyone that special, but I'm your friend so I will listen no matter what."

Alpha ate another spoonful of soup. "Whats your take on him?"

Dante sighed and leaned against the wall of the cottage. "I've just been contemplating on everything that's happened. So many people have died, two of which I have killed." He looked up at her. "I'm glad you care, but I would like to keep you out of my problems."

Media shook her head. "Hasty," she said. "And rather temperamental, more than sis here," Proto added quickly, finishing his stew.

She smiled to herself. "I understand why you want to keep me out of your problems. But you're just going to tell me," she said. "And let loose of all that baggage. I won't involve myself in your problems if you want, I just want for you to not bottle those emotions in you. So tell me?"

"You know i can hear everything your saying right?" He asked laughing now. "The tempermental and rude side came from Kyte it seems that he had a lot of it." Still laughing he then looked out the window and pulled out the daggers. "Damn i thought i lost that man!" He said looking mad again.

"Whatever, we don't really care." Alpha said returning to the stew.

Dante looked at Resha then back at the ground. "I've seen and caused so much death Resha. I couldn't stop Fang and Will from dying, my friend Kyte recently died, I killed Kairo, and I just killed a clone of you." He paused. "When I said I would kill that clone I thought I would be killing an empty shell. But when I heard her mention Zane I realized she was like you in almost every way. I knew she would remember me as if she was you, and to cope with it I reverted to my old self." He closed his eyes. "I became the merciless killer I was before." He looked at her. "I felt no remorse for anything I did to her." He looked back down.

"Then I traveled to the southern military base to find out more about the human chimera. When I arrived I stumbled upon something the military was doing that made me snap. Something I won't share with you. If you want to know, Renee would have to tell you." He sighed. "I'm reminded by it every time I see Theta. Basically, she's just one step away from it happening to her."

Tosh popped her head into the room. She had fallen asleep in the cottage but everyone seemed to forgotten her. She yawned some.

Media couldn't help but giggle at Alpha's reaction. It was so like him. "I change my opinion. He's bipolar. Sorta."

Resha looked at him, sad and worriedly. "That... has been really tough on you. I can only imagine how much it must have hurt you. Though I really didn't want you to have to kill that clone. But remember, if she was really like me in every way, she wouldn't have hurt you or inflicted poison on you, so I hope that ease your mind and heart even a little," she said. And gasped at his later news. "You mean..." There was a short pause. "So... can I safely conclude she's a human chimera now?"

Alpha shrugged. "Think he's intelligent?"

Dante nodded. "She is." He sighed and looked at Resha. "The minute before I killed the clone, after she had infected me with the poison, I looked into her eyes. I expected to see nothing there. But instead, I saw a sorrow, a shame."

The man was holding a gattling gun and he was about to pull the trigger when Akio jumped out the window and cut the gattling gun in half then held the daggers up to the mans throat. "Why are you trying to kill me?" He asked his tone completley different

Media and Proto looked at each other then to Alpha. "No idea," they said. "I rest my case," Media then smirked. "My bottom line is that he's bipolar."

Resha sighed. "Oh, my, that's not good," she shook her head. "Did it... ever occur to you that she might have done that to really affect you like this? Like a strategy to shake you up?"

Dante looked Resha in the eyes. "She just stood there and let me kill her with that sad look. There would be no reason for her to leave me like this."

Resha nodded. "How about if it's an order?" she smiled. "I've done that before when I was younger; of course, I just didn't let myself killed. I hope, I hope you wouldn't blame yourself so much. I know it's difficult and painful but you shouldn't close yourself."

"Then why would she have that sad look in her eyes if it was, if she wanted me to?" He closed his eyes. "Every time I have a problem and you or someone I care about try to help, someone either dies or gets hurt."

Media looked at him curiously, offhandedly. "What?"

"Because her death would have more effect on you that way?" She said. "There is no way I or a copy of me could defeat you," she said. "That's why we resort to the appeal of emotions. It's a common tactic in the military, Kotaro."

She smiled at him warmly, hoping to convince him that he wasn't in the wrong. "You saved me," she said. "You kept me safe. I'm alive and breathing, aren't I?"

Alpha scratched the back of his head. "Well, you see...uh..." He stumbled on the words.

"I don't know Resha, she just seemed sad. Sad that I was the one who did it." He sighed. "And the military wanted her dead, so what use would it be if she did it to injure me. I know it sounds wrong, but I think she was sad I did it without a thought."

He looked at her. "And what else have I done that hasn't led to someone getting hurt Resha."
