"I think he has you stuck in a secluded base to keep you safe from what he is going to pull. I don't know what that is, he wouldn't tell me, but He is always thinking about your safety."

She started to panic. Stabilizing her emotions were too difficult without medicine. "No, no, no," she kept saying. "Ko-chan! I need to find him!"

Kotaro held her steady. "Resha, listen. I'm not exactly sure. It's only a theory. He could just be a little over protective. Panicking won't fix anything." He looked into her eyes. "Just calm down."

But she couldn't help the dread that kept springing up. "But... I can't say for sure. What did brother tell you?"

"Like I said, he wouldn't tell me anything about it. He just made it apparent that he wanted as few people to know as possible. If anyone that is." He shrugged. "If I knew him better, or if he trusted me, he probably would have leaked more."

Kotaro rubbed his head. "He wouldn't go into detail, but he said he interrupted a delicate process. Maybe one about life and death." This was making Kotaro's head hurt.

Resha tried her best to remember. "I can't really recall," she said. "Maybe because I haven't had medicine yet?"

She tilted her head. "Wait, he's feeling guilty that's why he left?!"

"I don't really know... I was just told I have to drink it," she answered. "If I don't, my emotions just sort of burst and I can't control myself."

She flinched but continued. "It keeps me from feeling any remorse or guilt too. As to... when I've started... huh-," she blinked. "I can't remember."

"Any guilt or remorse and controls your emotions. It was given to you by the military." He nodded. "So they can have you do experiments you wouldn't usually do. Take advantage of your skills. And at the base they experimented on you some more. They might have been trying to finish what Zane interrupted."

"Come to think of it..." she was deep in thought. "The nearest memory I can remember that I was drinking this already... brother was very harsh to everyone, kept me in his office the whole day till he left. But if that's true... why would he leave me in the med base?"
