"I don't know what to do!" Kotaro pocketed the hand. "Every time it happened I just had to calm down, but know I'm just calm and it's still glowing." Kotaro walked over to the tree. As soon as he touched it the tree seemed to shift and change in shape. He removed his hand and cursed. "Damn! It's reacting to whatever it touches!" Kotaro punched the tree, this time causing it to be pushed a few feet further. The glow continued. "Damn it!"

"Don't take it out on the tree," he said. I liked sleeping there. "Maybe you should just cut it off."

Kotaro cursed. "I'm not going to cut it off. This makes me wonder what else they did to me." Kotaro placed his hand on the ground, creating multiple pillars without his control appear around the plains. With each one the glow faded a bit. "Is it a quantity thing?"

The pillars began to appear slower as the T.circle faded till it was nothing. "Just a test. Sorry." Kotaro stood back up waving his hand. "It's like a quantity thing I guess. If I don't use alchemy in a while, I guess it builds up." Kotaro took out Zero and shot each pillar, causing them to collapse into a rubble he then transmuted them into the ground. "Zane, I don't know what you have planned, but if it will help Resha, I ask to be a part of it."

Zane sighed as he looked over the mess he made. "Well, you were created for the purpose of alchemy usage. It's no surprise, if you think about it."

He looked at him dully. "I refuse."

Kotaro sighed. “I didn't expect a yes. I just want to help her.” Kotaro walked over to the now mishapen tree and leaned against it.

Kotaro nodded. "Understood." Kotaro looked up into the sky. "Sorry for insulting you earlier." Kotaro knew Zane didn't really care for the apology, but he was inclined to.

"Don't apologize; I won't take back my words, just so you know," he said. "I'm an information broker now so you owe me quite an amount for the information you just had." He smiled.

Kotaro sighed. "Whatever. I could tell you everything about me and I wouldn't care. I owe multiple people things." Kotaro held out his hand. "Some things that can't be repaid."

"So?" he asked, with a raised eyebrow. "That's how you are. Not me. I am not willing to part with valuable information without exchange," He looked at the hand he held out. And this is for?

Kotaro shrugged. "Thats you. Not me." He withdrew his hand. "Anyway, what do you want in exchange?"

Kotaro looked up to the sky. "Not trying to argue, just tell. How much?" Kotaro crossed his arms.

5 million. Thats it? Kotaro pulled out his wallet, removing the money. "Being a mercenary had it's advantages." He held out the money. "Take it."

He looked at the money. "That's not enough," he said. "That's a million cen short."

Kotaro checked his wallet. "Damn, must have left it at home." Kotaro shook his head. "Keep that for know. I gotta go get the rest. Is there a place I can find you after I get it?"

Kotaro shrugged. "Had to do some for the military before when I was a mercenary." And the resistance. "I never failed one."

"Really," he said, absentmindedly. "Then can you infiltrate the royal palace of Xing? No one must see you, hear you, or any of the like. If you haven't failed one before, don't start now."

"Infiltrate the Xing palace?" Kotaro was on edge. "Care to share why you want me too."

"Work," he answered. "I accepted two jobs. I have to get a scepter crap in the Xing palace, except, the other job changed plans and collided with the same date I needed to get the scepter back. I can do them both, but it's a hassle."

Hm. "That scepter is not that important to Xing - it's not even their property; they confiscated it and they wouldn't give it back to the owner."

He crossed his arms. "Will you do it? Can you?"

Kotaro thought for a minute. I'm on thin ice with the Amestris military, Drachma has a hit on me, Aerugo has multiple people after me...

"I can do it, but I would need some information. Do you know anything? Like the layout or where they keep the scepter?"

...And if I am caught Xing will be after me as well.
