Renee heard Zane, and ran up to him, smiling. "To be honest, she doesn't seem like a friend to me." Renee said flatly. "She more like my mommy~" She looked closer, and realized Resha called him her brother. Renee pointed at him. "I guess that makes you my Uncle!~" Renee laughed as she ran back into the light. She heard gunfire.

Renee's eyes went blank. She reached at her side. Finding nothing there, she blinked and shook her head. She looked around and saw Zane, running back to him. "Do you know what just happened?"

Kotaro nodded as Resha explained. The scientist smiled at him. “Kotaro, try to walk over there if you would.” Kotaro began to walk. He didn't stumble once. He stopped at the scientists command. “Amazing, he seems to already be used to his body.” Kotaro walked back to them. He held out his hand to Resha. “Did I do good?”

Kotaro wondered what happened. Why was he already used to his body, but Renee needed time?

Zane raised a brow at her. "I'm.. uh, fine," he told Renee. When she ran away then came the sound of a gunfire. He then quickly shielded Renee. "No," he told her then turned to her. "Go back to where your mom is. All right? I'll handle it."

Resha then looked at the brainwaves; Renee's were starting to go frantic.

Resha held his hand. "You did great, Kotaro!" she smiled at him. Then there was a sound of a gunfire. "Renee!"

Renee's eyes went blank again. She had felt fine before, but she realized what happened. She looked down to find a hole in her dress, something red flowing out of it. She found it hard to breath as pain spread through her body. She looked up at Zane and begun to cry before falling over, the pain unbearable.

Renee's body placed her hand over her chest, her breathing becoming unstable.

Kotaro walked toward the gunshot. “Loud sound.” He walked out to see Renee on the floor. “Girl...asleep.” He walked over to her, seeing the wound. “Girl...hurt. Ko...ta...ro...help.” Kotaro placed his hand on the wound, a small spark coming from it. After he removed it, the wound was gone. The scientit watched. “Was that...alchemy?”

Kotaro gritted his teeth. He looked to where the shot had come from. Multiple men were approaching,each one armed. And he couldn't do anything in this memory to help.

Zane upon further inspection saw the child keel over. Then quickly Resha and the other experiment came and he healed Renee.

"Big brother, enemies," Resha pointed out; but her tone was happy, as if something really good happened. Zane then nodded and took fight in the battalion of men and killed them all with his ice alchemy.

While all that happened, Resha turned happily to the scientist. "I modified him. Alchemy-using. Amazing, right? You said it was impossible but I changed the computations and the chemicals."

Zane went back to them. "Let's see how good your dolls are, little sister. I left a few more men and I want to see how capable they are."

Renee was frightened at first, but her eyes went blank once more. On ether side of the carnage stood 4 men. She stole a pistol from Zane and rushed those on the right. One man raised his shotgun and prepared to fire. Renee fired off the pistol before he could fire, hitting him in the head, killing him. The others prepared to shoot. Renee, however, was too quick. She grabbed the shotgun of the dead soldier and blew the head off of the soldier next to her. She then jumped onto the other soldier, the last soldier not firing, since it would of killed his fellow member. She blew the head off the man who she was on, threw the shotgun, slid down the back of the dead man, slipped out from under his legs, and fired the pistol right under the last man's jaw, the bullet flying through his brain, killing him.

All around her was bloody carnage, and Renee had gotten blood all over her dress. When she came to, she saw what had happened, and ran back to Resha, crying and hugging her leg, saying she was scared.

Kotaro had stood up. “Girl... are you ok?” The scientist stared baffled. “He just awoke, and he is mastering the language? And Renee! She did amazing.” Kotaro walked over to Resha. “Will she be ok?” Kotaro placed a hand on Renee's arm. “Calm now, I see the moon, the moon see's me.” The scientist looked toward the carnage. their were still a couple of soldiers. “Kotaro, please kill them.” The soldiers had dropped their weapons and were backing up. Kotaro looked up. “Killing is bad. I refuse.”

Resha watched the memories unfold and because she could not hold no longer to fatigue, she felt heavy and her eyesight getting blurry. I can't... have to... keep... in check... brainwaves... Also, unable to take in the things she saw, she passed out on the floor.

Renee's memory went blank as her real body's eyes fluttered open. She couldn't recall any of the memories that were viewed on the monitor. Her normal memories were back. She saw Resha on the ground, and Kotaro sleeping. She put her hand over her chest. She felt like she just had a dream, which she forgot.

It took her awhile before her focus returned.

Kotaro heard a thud. It seemed to come from no where. “Resha!” He took out Zero. The only way to exit would be to destroy the astral image. He told himself he could watch the memories on the screen. He placed Zero up to his head and pulled the trigger.

Kotaro fell off the bed. He looked up to see Resha on the ground. “Resha!” He was weak from the sudden switch, but managed to get to her. “Resha, please wake up!”

The scientist glared at Kotaro. “Thats an order Kotaro!” Kotaro shook his head. “I wont kill.” The scientist took out a gun. “General Zane?” He said putting the gun next to Kotaro's head.

Kotaro's eyes went wide. The memory still played on the screen he was hooked up too. He was remembering.

Resha laid still on the floor even after Kotaro's yells. She was too tired, and she felt like there was nothing around her. She didn't want to wake up anymore.

Zane flicked a wrist and handed Kotaro a dagger. "No need to destroy Resha's dolls," he said. "He just woke up. Let him adjust and fix him later."

He turned to Kotaro. "I am the current general, Zane, brother of Resha, your creator," he looked at him firmly. "They hurt Renee. Will you stand for that? Let them continue and they will kill Resha and Renee too. If you can't kill, that's fine with me. But knock them out to kill the danger. We'll handle the rest."

Zane looked at the scientist. "Put down the gun. That's an order."

Renee unhooked herself and lifted up Resha. She nodded to Kotaro before heading out of the room and into another with a bed. She laid Resha down, and kept guard, making sure no one interrupted her sleep.

Kotaro sat down and looked at the monitor.

The scientist holstered the gun. Kotaro stood up and walked towards the soldiers. They slowly backed away. “I won't kill you.” At this the soldiers stopped. “But we will kill you!” One soldier ran towards Kotaro with a knife. He swung it, but Kotaro grabbed his wrist and twisted it till there was a wet snap, taking the knife and leaving the man on the ground. The last 2 rushed him both at once, being more cautious. Kotaro blocked each attack and spun around after one tried to punch him. He jabbed the knife through the guards hands and threw them to the floor. He turned to Zane and the others, walking toward them. “Their knocked out.” The scientist stared in awe. “I don't understand it. How could he just wake up and be this skilled?”

Resha just laid there, motionless. When a different doctor burst into the room they were in. "Doctor Resha!" he screamed, seeing her unconscious and called out for the guards. "Get the other doctors! Quick!"

The doctor saw the monitor and watched in awe. "What?

Zane looked at Resha and held her by the shoulders. "Resha, what did you do to him? He's exceptional," he said.

The little girl answered in her most honest voice. "I just modified him. That's all. I saw the doctor's notes and saw a flaw. That's why I changed it. I did good, right?"

Renee held her spot, determined to let her rest.

Renee watched the boy do what he did. She couldn't even come close to that within a day, like he did. She crept away while everyone spoke of him in awe. She explored the building, going deeper within it. She eventually ended up in the basement, with tons and tons of boxes. She created a little fort and crawled into it.

Kotaro saw the girl sneak away from eveyone. “Is she scared?” Kotaro walked into the building, making sure he wasn't followed by anyone other than Resha. If she followed, it was alright. He walked deep into the building, finding the basement. He saw a little fort of boxes. “Miss, are you here?”

Kotaro didn't notice anyone else was there. His full attention was on the screen.

A swarm of doctors and guards came in the room. The guards captured Kotaro and Renee. While the doctors mused on what to do with Resha.

"She's asleep. This is bad," one doctor said. "Very bad."

"Zane would kill us," one doctor said in horror.

"Kotaro," one doctor said. "You are causing trouble again! What is wrong with you?"

He looked at Renee. "And you, as well!"

Renee escaped their grasp, slapping all the doctors.

"You call yourself doctors!? She HAS to have time to sleep! Her body and brain will start to break down if she doesn't have rest! If you keep working her like this, her brain will shut down, you idiots!"

Renee slung Resha over her shoulders. "If any of you try to wake Mama up, I will handcuff you to the wall and duct tape you."

Renee went into a room away from there, locked the door, and tucked Resha into bed. She sighed, pushing objects to block the door. She looked into a camera.

"Let her have her NEEDED rest. After she wakes up, you can return her to work."

Kotaro waited till Renee had secured Resha before slamming the head doctor into a wall, Zero pointed at his head. “First off, **** Zane! Secondly, if you try to hurt them again, I'll turn you life to hell!. And third...” He pointed at the monitor. It had paused at the scene. “... Your going to tell me why I can't remember that ****!” He placed his empty hand on the wall, transmuting tendrils which trapped the guards. “NOW TALK!!”

Resha continued to sleep soundlessly, unmoving. And her breathing shallow. But she could hear everything outside.

That was when the side effects of the pills she drank took in and she screamed; she struggled, holding her throat as if it was burning, then her arms. And she just screamed in agony.

"Even if you kill us, general Zane's orders are absolute," the doctor said, even though Zane was not the general anymore, some just were unrelentingly loyal to him. "And why? Why you can't remember? Why won't you ask your friend? But oh- you made her sleep which will all kill us, mind you. So here's the answer: it's because doctor Resha modified your memories. You wouldn't kill - didn't you see in the memory? The general spared your life and gave you one more chance; Resha was only too happy to comply. Now, I talked. Put me down."

Renee knew she couldn't do anything to stop the pain. She just let her rest.

Kotaro tightened his grip on the trigger. "So he kept me alive so he could turn me into a killing machine." Kotaro glared at the doctor. "Your worried about your own lives! You would rather work Resha to her DEATH!" Kotaro pushed harder on the doctor, cracks starting to appear in the wall he was pushed up against. "I don't give a DAMN about the military! I don't give a DAMN about your experiments! I was KILLED by my best friends, just so you could use me in your DAMNED EXPEIMENTS!!" Kotaro released the doctor and fired the gun into his leg. He then healed the wound, but made the pain remain. "I Don't give a rats ass about Zane's orders, In fact he should have killed me then instead of trying to perfect me!"

She stopped screaming for the most part and just whimpered in pain.

The doctor in Kotaro's grip cowered. "Stop hurting me!"

Then a doctor, a girl this time, piped in. "Doctor, your explanation is crude. You make the general sound so evil."

She turned to Kotaro. "Nice to meet you, Resha's doll," she said, casual, one of her hands on her waist. "I'm Resha's doctor, also a loyalist of general Zane. But I want to clear up one mess this doctor," she looked at the doctor in disgust, who clutched his leg, whimpering. "--made. The general did not spare your life for petty reasons like that. In fact, he would have not hesitated in killing you right then and there. But you are Resha's doll. And by killing you, she would be sad. Do you see it now? He spared you for her, his most precious little sister. And believe it or not, there are reasons why she is treated the way she is.

Truth be told, all these for Resha's sake... general Zane has gone too soft. He used to be so strict and firm, no hesitation. But always for his little sister, he'd hesitate. He'd be human. If it were up to me, I'd say she should have never existed."

Kotaro started to calm, until he heard the last sentence. "What?" He turned his attention to the doctor. "Never existed!" His thought of Zane had changed. Now it was the military he was pissed off at. "Your all the same aren't you? Power and strength, thats all you care about!" He walked up to the doctor, glaring at her. "I was wrong about Zane, but I've had enough of you damn military BASTARDS!"
