Kotaro appeared in the entrancee of the room. He noticed Tosh and sighed. He remembered he had told her to visit before thiis all began.“Hello Tosh.” He walked into the room and leaned aggainst the wall, opening his hand to look at the object. “I'll wait till everyones done.”

She shook her head. "I'm sorry to worry you, Re-chan," she said, smoothing Renee's hair. "But you should know that I'll be fine - and this is true, I promise," she grinned, feeling a lot better.

"But, I am feeling a little down. Say, how would you feel if you lose Kotaro? If he just suddenly leaves you, without saying a thing?"

Tosh tilted her head at Kotaro. "What do you mean? Whats going on?" she asked curious and a bit worried.

Renee looked down, saddened. "It would obviously hurt, and I would be lonely........ and, without Mama there, I wouldn't know what to do....... I guess........ if I lost you both........ I would just give into the military, and become a actual doll.......

Kotaro shook his head. “Everyone heres had a revalation Tosh.”

“My death is of no importance. And don't you dare become a doll Renee.” Kotaro said as she finished talking. “Resha, why is it you had all our memories of the base and events there erased.”

"Please don't say such things, Kotaro," she said. "You being alive and well is all too important. See, Renee and I will be devastated!" she gripped Renee's hand. "So you see... that's how I felt. Ko-chan and Re-chan were both sent to the battlefield, and I never saw you two again. Then... my brother left... It was... too much for me to handle."

She looked at Kotaro. "...Garsher told me to. He-he said that if I didn't, he'd kill you both and that he'd recreate big brother. I-I was a child, naive, and I didn't know he was bluffing... so I did as I was told and had all these memories erased."

Tosh, not sure what was going on, left the the room quietly, waiting outside. She tried not listening, thinking any of this was not her business.

Renee looked at Kotaro. "You keep on saying your death is not important..... that its better to die......" Tears began to stream down her cheeks again. "Your a idiot, brother........ your death is everything to us......... your the only brother I've ever had......... if you died, then me and Mama would be alone....... and if Mama gives into the military, then I would of lost you both....... and what about Tosh.......? Your always giving your life no meaning when its very important........"

Renee looked into Kotaro's eyes. "As long as I live. As long as Resha lives. As long as Tosh lives. As long as any of your friends live. As long as your sister lives. As long as any of us live, your life has meaning. No matter how hard you try, you can't push that meaning away. Your life is meaningful Kotaro."

“Death isn't important for me.” He sighed. “Renee, go tell Tosh all that has happened. Everything from when we were made to now. I need to speak to Resha.” He threw the object he had been holding to Resha. “Do you at least remember this?” It was a chain. tthere was an emblem of a lightning storm on it.

"Does it matter if it's important to you or not?" she asked. "Isn't what you should be thinking about is whether your death would cause grievance or not?"

Catching it, she tilted her head. "No," she said, hesitant. "I'm sorry. I don't. What is this for?" She held it up.

Renee felt she had done all she could. She left the room and returned to the fort in the basement. She just felt warm within it.

Kotaro walked into the hall. “Tosh, come back inside, we want to tell you whats going on.”

Tosh looked at Kotaro a bit hesitantly. She didn't want to interrupt anything important. "You sure?" she asked to make sure.

Kotaro shrugged. "you cant stop them, just postpone them."

"I not surprised you don't remember with all thats happened. I had it all these years, couldn't remember why I had it, but I couldn't get rid of it. I had to keep it for some reason."

Kotaro nodded. "Tosh, you should know whats happened. I'm not keeping any secrets."

"I cannot change your opinions," she finally said, after a long pause. She smiled. "At the very least, as least you are your own person now."

She blinked. "That's wonderful," she smiled. "I just wish I can remember. Haha~"

She waved a hi at Tosh. "Hello~" she said. She felt rather tired, though, again, and was kind of feeling dreadful.

Tosh looked to the side, not much understanding what is going on besides Kotaro and Renee being here as punishment. She waved back at Resha.

Kotaro cleared his throat. “Tosh, I aam a clone of the original Kotaro who was killed years ago. I was created in a lab by Resha and Garsher. Renee is also a clone and was also created in the lab. Our memories were erased,including Resha's. This is hard to understand and believe but it's the truth.”

Resha smiled. "I've wronged you guys," she giggled, a few tears leaking out. She stood up.

"I... have decided," she looked firm. "I'm going to look for big brother and try and fix what I can."

She sighed, looking at Tosh. "I'm sorry; I've hurt our friends. But, I'll find a way to make up for it."

"This is goodbye for now."

“Resha,” Kotaro placed a hand on her shoulder. “You were young and didn't know what you were doing. It's not your fault and we don't blame you.” Kotaro looked into her eyes. “I'll do what I can to help you find your brother. But if you do this, the military will be after you. If you need a place to stay go to my cottage. My sister or I will take care of you.” He smiled. “If you ever need help, come find me.”

He turned to Tosh. “Out in the hall you were scratching your arm. Are you ok?”
