"Have you killed anyone Resha." He spat the words out without meaning too. "Killed civilians, military personal, resistance. I have killed so many Resha." He looked down. "I..I...I'm sorry."

"....of course," she looked down, and remembered. "Of course... I have killed many, many people. And all of them are innocent. Living their lives. To be randomly abducted to be used on experiments. Throwing away their freedom. Their lives." she took a sharp intake of breath. "Human transmutation. Chimera experimentation. Cloning. Modifying... the list goes on." she shook her head. "It's not just killing, Kotaro! I've played with their lives, their souls... before killing them!"

Kotaro sighed and hugged her. "You didn't know it was bad back then Resha. The military made it seem like you were doing the right thing and you thought they were right. I've seen what you've done and I don't hate you for it." He looked into her eyes. "You were young. You thought you were making friends when you created us."

She shook her head. "At first I didn't know if it was bad or not. But even when I found out, I continued to do it. Even when the people... were screaming and asking for help," she shut her eyes closed. "I-I didn't do anything. Even now... I still am... working on chimeras, Kotaro."

Resha smiled slightly. "I'm so sorry. I'm not really a good person."

Kotaro shook his head. "I know Resha, I've seen the southern research base. I don't know if you had anything to do with that, but I still don't hate you." He smiled. "Your just trying to make your brother proud."

Resha giggled. "You're just making me feel better. You're giving me an escape goat," she thanked him. "It still doesn't save those whom I have wronged. I still have to atone."

She grinned. "You are just as lost, Kotaro."

Kotaro hugged her again. "Just don't fight Rose. I'll escape if it gets too bad and you could help by healing me." He smiled. "I don't want you hurt. I know you feel bad, but you can atone by helping me."

"That doesn't keep me from helping others."

She grinned at the hug; Kotaro was a very gentle person, kind-hearted. So she was determined to keep him safe. "I'll do my very best, Kotaro. Teehee. So don't worry about me."

Resha giggled at their similar sentiments. "Exactly my reason. Do you see now?"

Kotaro smiled and looked back to Tosh. "I gotta go. I'll see you again soon." Kotaro walked out of the hospital, smiling.

As Kotaro walked out of the hospital he didn't notice he was being watched. A little girl, just about a teen, was watching him from an alley across the street. She had brown hair, and blue eyes, smiling a harmless smile. She watched as Kotaro walked down the street. "Teehee." She stealthily followed him, staying back enough to where she wasn't seen.

Tosh blinked and frowned a bit as Kotaro left. She waved at him and saw Resha follow someone. She wasn't sure to follow or not but she did anyways.

The Van pulled up to the base. The scientist whispered to Kotaro. "They don't know who you are, so its safe for you"

He lead them to the operating room. Within were the required tools to do this successfully. Including Jared brains, in near-perfect condition. He then laid Renee, and himself, each, onto different tables beside each other.

"Put me to sleep when your ready to begin"

Resha smiled. She didn't know why but she felt excited. "First, I want to remind you of the dangers of this operation."

She smiled. "Are you sure about this, Dr. Aki? You will die, you know."

Dante closed his eyes. "I'm sorry. I can't do anything to help with this. Aki, I thank you for this." He looked down. Why is it every time I'm around someone must die?

Aki nodded. "Sick of creating Chimera's anyways. Making people suffer, its not what I strive for. I just hope this atones for my sins."

Resha paused for a while as she heard his words and smiled sadly. "I understand..." she said. "I understand."

She smiled. "I'll help you atone for them," she said. "Let's prepare for the operation."

Resha looked at Kotaro. "I need sedative 3, 5 and 8," she said. "And please sterilize scalpels." She sighed. "Cracking the head open will be a messy job."

Dante opened a nearby cabinet, taking out the labeled sedative's and setting them on the medical tray. He then took the scalpels and washed them in cleaning alcohol. He ten washed them over with water and placed them on the tray. He said nothing as he did this and kept his face blank.

Just then the door burst open. "This operation is unauthorized," a girl doctor said, entering the room. The same one long before who told Kotaro about Resha that she shouldn't fall asleep. "Or rather, surgeon is unauthorized to operate."

Resha looked at her. "What do you mean?"
