The homunculus started to retch out blood as his head grew back. He let out a blood chilling scream as he started to disintegrate. As he began to he pointed at Kotaro and Kinai. "It's not over! Not yet! There is more then you think!" He smiled one last time before finally disappearing.

Kotaro sighed. "Its over."

Kinai heard kotaro but ignored his statement as he walked up to the god statue that presided over the temple "Forgive our sins" he says to the statue

Kotaro looked at Kinai. "He has a lot of work to do then." He said. He looked arounf the room, looking to see if the soul struggle had carried on in this world. It hadn't.

He glared at kotaro and the picture and in a metallic tone "He was no god. He was just a mere fake. I know the gods of my people" He said "He may have looked like him but that was how the man was made. The philosepher stone made him have the looks and knowledge of the god"

Kotaro breathed in a deep sigh. "I meant no disrespect Kinai, but everyone changes." He walked up to a nearby pillar, using his alchemy to fix it.

Kinai walked over to a 3 foot ledged and jumped up on it and sat down to take a break "...." He said nothing as he was deep in thought about his past memories when he was a kid

He shakes his head as if ashamed "My theory is because the people here that the military havent killed but captured were transmuted and experimented on to be turned into philosepher stones which power them"

Kotaro nodded. "The military know the danger of a homunculus, but they might have. I've seen things happen to people cause of the military. Horrible things."

He thinks for a moment "Yes." he says with a slight pause "They must be pretty high up and have a good connection to the furher." He said as he stood and looked at the place making everything was fixed "How else do you think the other officers would over look it?"
