"We don't need another gun around here," Rei said, sitting in a chair and picking up a book. "Or at least, one that needs a place to stay. I'm all out of beds and you attract a lot of attention when you fight."

"Beds are just a luxury. I just need a building to sleep in. Out in the desert, I sleep under trees half the time," Fang replied. Obviously just trying to get a place he could stay. He doesn't need a house, nor would it prove worth while to him. He is on the road...err...sand half the time.

((Tosh, you weren't called princess. Rei was. XD ))

Rei looked at the man out of the corner of her eye. "I'm not even sure I know your name," she said, leaning on her armrest. "Even if I did, I have no room left for guests. I already have Zergio and Tosh staying with me."

Tosh started to eat the giant cake she forgot about earlier, getting covered in icing and frosting.

Rei's cocked an eyebrow at the man. "You're what, in your late-twenties? And you're asking me if you can stay in my house." She shook her head. "I can take care of a chimera with a flick of my wrist. Now that I know about them, I can deal with them. You're better off finding a hotel somewhere."

He looked down. "I can hardly buy food. The mission I was on yesterday would have saved my ass if I reported back on time. Try as I might, couldn't get back fast enough, even though I got the job done. Now, I'm flat broke. Unless you got any missions for me, I'm probably just gonna hang around here waiting for the homunculus."

Tosh poked herself out of teh cake, hearing some of the conversation. She then though of an idea. "Hey Rei! He can stay at my old house!" she claimed.

Rei was surprised by how cheerful Tosh sounded when she gave the offer. She looked from the girl to Fang, then back at Tosh. "Your old house?"

Tosh nodded and handed Fang the address. "We can go check it out tomorrow if you want." Tosh said smiling before she walked over to the stairs. She was covered in cake and was in dire need of a shower. "Now I go rest and shower, hehe." she said chuckling to herself as she went upstairs to the bathroom.

Fang stood there for a while. "....what about tonight? ....Ugh...kids..."
He looked back at Rei. "What do you think?" You idiot! She's obviously thinking 'I don't care as long as you're out of my shop by closing.'

"I don't know," Rei responded, watching the girl go up the stairs. It was the truth; she had no idea what to make of the matter, but only because she had watched the girl become incredibly depressed when she had found her old home. "It's up to you whether you take her up on your offer or not. It is none of my concern."

"That won't stop me from being interested, though."

Friends...very few haven't turned on me. Those that did, are just memories...some I can't remember at all...

He rolled a gold coin over his fingers, then flicked it in the air. "I give you my word, I wont hurt her. She's shown me nothing but hospitality since I arrived here," he said calmly, catching the coin.

Kinai Slowly walks up the stairs, noticing the people but not really paying them no mind. "..." He walks up to the counter and in a deep metallic voice he says "Where are your military strategist books?"

"Sorry, you can ignore him," she apologized as she approached the man. She led him back into the shelving. "Those books are right here. Any in particular you're interested in?"

"Fantastic, another military man."

He notices them mentioning homunculus and chimera "No not really" Kinai pauses for a moment "If you don't mind me asking what all were you guys talking about?"
