Pegged it, again.

Dwyrin was suddenly aware that she may be too relaxed. It was a disturbing notion - that she had been caught off-guard - and she wasn't really sure why she had. She found herself thinking over their dialouge, searching for anything she may have said that she wouldn't normally say during conversation.

Her head was buzzing pleasantly, and she poured two final drinks, capping the bottle. "Well, be sure to pick up a souvenir for me if you ever go anywhere interesting," she joked.

She looked tense and he promptly wondered why so sudden when she was relaxed just a few moments ago. "There's no need to be so tense. We're drinking and enjoying. Just that."

He laughed. "If I find something that'll suit you. Something I could risk that you've never seen yet before - what with you staying at many places."

"That we are." She took her last shot. "Or were."

She rose from the stool, and stretched her arms over her head. "There's a lot of things I've never seen, I'm sure. And somehow I'm confident in your ability to have been at just as many places as I."

Walking around the bar, she stowed away the bottle, and then looked back to Zane. "I'm afraid, I'm calling this a night. Lots of things to do tomorrow. But I hope to see you here, again. You know where to find us!" she called as she walked through a curtain into the back room.

He waved good bye, not looking at her and drank his last shot. "Sure, no problem."

He finally stood after a while after a few pondering on what he got out from their conversations. He decided to get some rest.

Amelia walks through the doors into the building. There are not a lot of people in the hall ad that surprised her. Ever since she came to this ciry, there have always been a lot of people around her. "hm..." she walks up to the counter and reads a sign. If no one is here, please push the button below. amelia looked down and saw a black little button and pushed it. She heard a light ring from the room beside.

Zane went inside the apartment and saw Amelia taking heed of his recommendation for this place.

"The owner is probably out," he pointed to the sofa. "You could wait there if you want."

She jumpedout of the surprise to see zane. "woah! ... zane, its you... what are you doing he- ...are you stalking me?" she took a step back.

"I saw that coming," he looked at her blankly then smirking. "But don't flatter yourself, Amelia. I live here. Why would I want to stalk you? I have higher standards than that," he said with a smile.

"i can never be sure. i have to keep mu gaurd up around guys like you, you know. you seem a little dangerous, to be honest." she smiled and went over to the sofa. "so you live here, huh? nice." she sat down.

"I seem dangerous?" he smiled as he sat at the sofa in front of her. "I don't have a reason to hurt you. I dislike wasting unnecessary energy too. And yeah, I do."

"yeah." she followed zane with her eyes as he sat down. "you do seem a little dangerous. but it makes me feel safer when you say that. but i cant help but to believe that you actually are lazy." she smirked and stuck her tongue out.

He crossed his arms and leaned on the back rest and smiled. "I wouldn't call it lazy. It's for efficiency's sake," he responded to her comment. Why am I even explaining myself? He wasn't sure but he usually never really does. "But I can see quite clearly how childish you are," he smiled at this.

she leaned towards zane. "dont ever call me childish again." she hit zanes leg and smiled a fake smile. "if you do, you should be running for your life." she leaned back and looked away.

Zane withdrew his leg when she hit him. Definitely childish. No doubt about that. He then smirked. It was really fun annoying her.
"Didn't you know? Your behavior right now just pretty much proved it."

She looked away, irritated and he couldn't help but want to irritate her some more. "And, was that a threat? I don't take threats lightly, you see. I dispose of anyone who becomes a potential hindrance to me," he smiled.

Amelia felt the irritation building up inside her. But she wouldnt let this guy get her mad. Not this time. "What can i say? I rather want to be young, not old like you. Btw, i think i saw a grey hair, right over there." She pointed at Zanes hair and she smirked.

"Youre the one who decides if it is a threat or not." she smiled and crossed her legs.

"You have to try harder than that if you want to annoy me," he smiled and shifted his weight, and laid down on the sofa. "I already figured you'd say something so childish like that."

Glancing at her, she smiled at him and changed positions to cross her legs. "Of course. But it's the people who acts on it that makes me decide on it." It was his turn to smile.

More irritation builded up inside her. "oh so you say that, huh?" she picked up a pillow that was laying beside her, and she threw it at zane. "oh oops. my hand slipped, i hope you dont mind." she leaned back and relaxed.

"you think so? ... so... what intentions do you think i had when i said it? did i try to threat you or not?" she smiled.

Zane caught the pillow and placed it under his head. "I don't. Thanks," he said and smirked.

"Can't say. You're weird," he said simply, rather honest about it. "So where's your hometown?"

she thought to herself, he is unbelievable.. "so im the weird one, huh? what about you, arent you weird? i must say, youre one of the weirdest guys i have ever met." she grabbed the other pillow beside her and placed it in her lap and started to finger with its tassel. "if you go by train about three hours in that direction." she pointed towards north. "you will find a little town called St. charles town. thats the place i used to live."
