Amelia sighed and stopped, then shouted to Zane. "whatever... do as you like! im sure you wont get any information out of him!"

[Zane]

He turned back to her. "What a waste of time then," he looked at her, irritated. "You trust him to help you yet you don't even know if he knows anything or not? So what if he knows your name? As if obtaining names are so difficult."

Amelia stayed still. "im sure he can help me." What she said didnt come out so loud. "if youre trying to get information from him to help me,just... dont do it. But if youre doing it for yourself, then feel free to run after him." She gazed over to Zane.

[Zane]

"So pretentious," he said, grabbed her wrist and dragged her back to the VIP room. He sat and called for a menu. "Now I'm just not in the mood for work," he crossed his arms.

[GL]

Amelia sat down and looked at Zane. He did seema little upset. "Im sorry... if i have made you upset." She looked aroud the room and noticed that some of the guests looked irritated when she and Zane came back into the room.

[Zane]

He waved her off. "Don't mind them," he said. "They can't do a thing in my territory," he leaned back on his chair.

"It's fine. I don't care anymore if you don't want to tell me," he said. "But I am an information broker. If I wanted to, I can find out through other means."

"Hm. That makes me feel good... Almost safe." Amelia said and grinned. Mabye i can light up his mood with jokes...?

Amelia looked for a long time at Zane. "Sometimes it would be nice of you wasnt so intrested in information." She looked throught the menu that the waiter gave her.

[Zane]

"That's weird," he said, browsing through the menu. "Didn't you once say I'm dangerous?"

He glanced at her and saw she was looking at him then she said it. "I'm not going to change how I am just because you said that, you know," he said and gave his order. "Besides what would change if I don't?"

"Yeah, i did. But when you say "they cant do a thing in my territory", it sounds like youre a female dog, making sure that no other dogs can hurt your puppies. And that kinda protective." She was still looking at the menu when she said that, and she laughed some. "How cute, imagine you as a dog." She laughed some more and hid her face behinde the menu.

"Mabye our friendship would?" She knew that what she said sounded weird. But it wouldnt hurt to say what was on her mind, right?

[Zane]

He glared at her. How dare she compare me to an overprotective dog? But said nothing of it, not in the mood to humor her.

"Our friendship, you say?" Now then, he couldn't help but laugh at that. "Says the girl who won't even tell what's going on with her. Yes, friendship," he smirked and looked at her, amused. "I hate hypocrites the most."

[GL]

Amelia noticed that Zane wasnt in the mood of her jokes. Darn... She gace her order to the waiter and decided to stop joking with him.

Amelia didnt quite understand if Zane actually were amused or if he was sarcastic. "... Are you calling me a hypocrite...? Or am i misunderstanding you?"

[Zane]

He took off his coat and tossed it on the side.

Zane looked at her. "What do you think, Amelia?"

[GL]

"... i have no idea. I can never be sure about stuff when im around you." She tried to make what she said a little amusing, but still serious.

[Zane]

"Then why do you keep hanging out with me?" He asked. The food came and he focused on eating, not once glancing at the girl.

[GL]

Amelia smiled and thanked the waiter. She took a fast peek at Zane and took a deep breath. "Well... I like you, youre a good friend to me. Thats why im still hanging out with you."

[Zane]

"Tch," he took a bite off his food. "Really now," he muttered. "So what do you plan to do now? Have you ever even reported to the military base?"

[GL]

She smiled and took a bite of the food. "Nope. I have not done that... yet."

[Zane]

He sighed. "Why? That's a big headache you're causing for the officials, you know," and took another bite from his food.

"I should just hand you in, really."

[GL]

Amelia didnt know what to say all she could think about was to apologize. But it wasnt necessary to alopogize to Zane, right? "Ah..." Was the only word that she could think of.

She took a bite and nodded. "mabye you should do that... someday." She smiled.

[Zane]

"Pft," he finished his food. "I won't gain a thing from it. So no."

He sighed. Just once then he'll stop. He'll use his own means, if he needs to.

"The last time I'll ask this: who are you looking for? If you can't tell me that - why are you going to such lengths such as accepting the help of a total stranger, not to mention freaking suspicious, who doesn't even seem like he would help?"

[GL]

"how come you wouldnt gain a thing from it?" She smiled and put down her knife and fork.

Why is he so intrested in my businesses? Seriously... Amelia shook hear head and looked at Zane. "I trust this man because im sure he is connected to the guy im looking for. And im sure of that because i was supposed to meet that guy here, but instead i met that old man who seemed to know what i was doing. It wouldnt be a surprise if he turns out to be one of that guys helpers."

[Zane]

"I'm affiliated with the military but I'm not their pawn," he said. "If they are missing a soldier, that's their responsibility."

He breathed in and listened to her. "Ah, is that so?" And he decided to keep his opinions to himself. It could've also been an enemy. What's with this girl so trusting? It should be a crime, really.

[GL]

"oh... i understand." She nodded and smiled.

"yes, thats how it is." Amelia felt uncomfortable in this situation, mabye it was because the conversation had been tense for some time now? What to do... The situation cant keep on being like this... She looked at Zane and asked "What do you think about going to the festival down town?" Amelia asked the question kinda fast and she wasnt sure what his reaction would be like.

[Zane]

He looked at her, weirded out for a while.

But he eventually replied. "A good distraction."

And he stood up. "Are we going or what?"

Amelia lauged some and stood up. "Of course!"
