"So we did," she said, smiling. "Is there really nothing down here?? I just came on a sort of expedition to see what I could find." Dwyrin shrugged then looked back at the graves. "That's an interesting booby trap. These must be important to you."

“It's my family.” Kotaro said looking at the graves. “The only one not booby trapped is the 4th one over there. Recently dug.” Kotaro looked back at Dwyrin.. “The only things in the south you'll find are houses, tree's and grasslands.” Kotaro looked up north. “South city is that way, just a 2 day walk.” He pointed South. “The only thing in that direction is grassland and my training ground.” He pointed at the cottage. “This is the only home for 24 miles. You need to rest, you do it here. It's not officialy mine anyway. It's my parents.”

His family?? He's so young.

"I'm not sure that's true. If it was your parent's and they're there" - she pointed to the graves at their feet - "Then isn't it yours, now??"

She glanced over at the freshly turned earth he had mentioned and tried to decide whether or not to ask about it.

“I wasn't in any of their wills. They left this place as it is, no real owner.” Kotaro shuffled his feet. “And who am I to change that. I'm 19, a wanderer so it dosen't really matter to me.”

Curiosity, once again, got the better of her. Aside from any actual business she might be on here, this kid was interesting. She remebered when she had seen him. He was the one who had talked about going to the sky prison.

"So, you just let fellow wanderers stay here if they happen by??"

Kotaro nodded. "It doesn't matter who they are, they need a place to stay, they can stay here. There's always food, water, and an open bed." Kotaro pointed at the graves. "These are the only things I come here to see." He pointed at the 4th one. "I just dug that one yesterday, but the kid died a long time ago."

Kinai was strolling by and decided to stop at kotaros so he went up and knocked on the door waiting for an answer

Dwyrin smiled. "The world needs more people like you, kid." She looked over to the far grave once more, and having been given the opening, she said, "I would be interested to hear who it was, if it would't bother you to tell."

“I'll give you a hint. He was 19, a wanderer, entire family dead, and had a scar over his right eye.” Kotaro turned as he heard a knock on the door. “COME AROUND, WERE OUT BACK!”

Deciding the stranger who had knocked would come around when they chose, she stood in silence, glad the fading light may have hidden any confusion on her face.

"That's wuite a hint. Lira's a pretty name," she said, meaning it, but mostly trying to dispell the silence that followed.

“My sister, Lira. She was quite a handful, but I loved her.” Kotaro looked at the grave. “Heres another hint, he had family in this cottage, and...” He pointed down. “...they are buried here.”

It was obvious - what had happened - but she didn't say anything. What could she say?? She tried to think of her own family and only remembered her aunt. Dwyrin shook her head, breaking any personal feelings she may have had about this situation. This wasn't the time to go wallowing in self-pity.

"How did such a one come to buried??" she asked.

Dwyrin puzzled over how someone could be buried in the ground, with just a head, and also standing next to her at the same time.

"Kinai," she said in way of greeting to the person who had apparently been the one knocking.

“Welcome back Kinai.” Kotaro looked at Dwryin. “Confused eh?” Kotaro lifted his sleeve to reveal a bar code on his left arm. underneath it was: B-15. “I'm the bi-product of a military experiment to create clones. Unlike the other ones hoever, I retained memories from the original.”

"Kinai, you think I haven't thought of that?" Kotaro approached him. "They aren't trying to capture me, they are ordered to shoot on sight if I'm spotted." Kotaro shook his head. "I have 4 state alchemists who know me after my ass, soldiers searching all of Amestris, and I can't leave Amestris."
