East City Tavern

Kotaro walked into the tavern, his head covered by a hood. He had come straight here after leaving the cave. A memory. I am just a memory of the original one. This tavern was where he came to try and relax. The owner was a personal friend. He allowed Kotaro to stay in the room upstairs when he needed a place to stay. Kotaro approached the counter, the owner walking up to him. "Hey there kid. You OK Kotaro?'" Kotaro looked down. "Just had a tough couple days Owen." Owen placed a card on the counter. "Here, you can use the room tonight. You should rest." Kotaro took the card and headed upstairs. A couple more customers had begun to shuffle in.

Kyte walked into the tavern. He walked up to the counter. "One drink of sake please." The tender passed him a tall glass. "thanks." He took a long drink. "So, any news around here?"

Leon walked in sitting next to Kyte."Hey." He said. He turned to the tender. "Vodka." The tender passed him a bottle. He took a drink and burped.

Kotaro came down from the upstairs room. He sat next to Kyte without knowing who it was. "Morning Owen." Owen nodded. "Morning. You OK now?" Kotaro nodded back. He had spent the entire night thinking about the predicament.
