"I see. Sounds like an alright way to go about it." She nodded. Then she heard an explosion out back. Remembering the last time she had looked for the source of an explosion, she decided now was a good time to make her exit.

"Well, I really must dash. Later."

“Yea, well i've killed alot of people that i'm sick of it. Also, I don't kill women, its sort of a way of saying that i'm sane. Can I see your sniper rifle, I'll let you see my sword that I use for close quorters.”

Renee was hesitant, but she went and got it. This was her first real gun that she build. The lens could zoom up to 5 miles, and the power of it could break rocks from the same distance. It was easy to handle, soft to the touch, and had extreamly good accuracy.

Kairo pulled his blade out from its sheath. The blade was well polished, the handle was gold, blade sharpened to the point of cutting through medium metels. Then he sheaths the blade and removes it from his side. He gentally drops it on the floor.

Renee fired a bullet into the air, and laid her gun on the ground, signalizing that it wasn't cocked.

Renee laughed a little. "What are we doing again?"

Renee thought of something.

She aimed into the air with her sniper, cocked it, and fired.

Moments later, a bird fell onto Kairo's head, uninjured, but in shock.

"Whistling bullet" Renee said. "Lil sucker isn't dead. Its just scared."

“Hmmm.” Kairo pulls out a knife. Does a few hand tricks with it, then throws it up in the air. Spins around, catches the blade and throws it through two targets he saw in the yard. “Titanium blades, it can cut through almost anything.”

"Impressive~" Renee commented. She went and picked up the knife, looking at it. She twirled it in her hand, then tried some basic slashes. She fell face first. She laughed a little as she picked her face up from the dirt.

"Im no good with knives" she said. She returned the knife to Kairo.

“Well then, I guess I will have to show you the basics. Because even a gun user needs to learn how to use a knife.”

"True" Renee agreed. "All I ever used a knife for was to skin animals I killed, and cut their meat."

“Alright, all you need to do is plant feet firmly on the ground. Grasp the handle strong, and step the same foot as the hand once as you swing. So it would be right foot right hand, left foot left hand.”

Renee grasped the handle tight.

"Okay."

She took a step forward with her right foot, swinging the blade with her right hand. She didn't fall.

Kotaro had been listening to everything that had been going on. It surprised him Kairo had changed so much. Multiple times Kotaro had sought his brother to try and kill him for killing his friends. But now he seemed to be turned around. He was even showing Renee how to use a knife. “When you swing make sure your arm is curved a bit. It allows you to strike faster and cancel the atttack quickly if you see it won't work. ” He chimed in.

Kairo turned as he heard Kotaro's voice and nodded. "About time you spoke up." He turned back to Renee. "He's right though, keep your arm a little curved." Kairo turned to Kotaro and walked over to him. "Been a while brother."

Kotaro nodded back. "It has." He raised his arm in a small wave. "How have you been? last time I saw you, you were trying to kill me and Tosh."

Kairo shook his head. "Doing contracts, drinking, changing my ways. Its the same as always, just less insanity." Kairo looked at Kotaro's arm and raised an eyebrow. "What happened here? You lose a bet?"

Kotaro nodded. So he was trying to change. "Good."

Kotaro gave a sigh as Kairo mentioned his arm. He raised it, the black skin shining once again in the pale light. "No, just a little trouble I had. Don't worry about it."

Kairo thought about whetther to ask about it, but decided against it. Instead he decided to ask about his aquaintance with Renee. "So this one, Renee, Where do you know her from?"

Kotaro shrugged. "We met here actually. I came in and asked if she could make me a gun. After that we just, became friends." Kotaro decided to leave out the unpleasantness that happened after that.

Kairo nodded. "Well, thats life for ya." Kairo took another look at Kotaro's arm. He decided not to ask about it again. It wasn't his business. "So, last time I saw you, you were busy prtecting that girl Tosh. How is she?" Kairo was tempted to ask if anything happened between them, but that would wait.

"She's fine. In fact she's sleeping over there." He pointed at the Sleeping Tosh. "She's had a lot going on though." Kotaro sighed. It seemed every time he saw Tosh, he had nothing but bad news.

Kairo looked at Tosh as she slept and gave a wry smile. "So, has anything happened between you yet? I recall that you risked your life to save her. You LIKE her don't you?" Kairo kept his wry smile the whole time he said that. He made sure to put extra emphasis on the like.

Kotaro turned red as Kairo said that. He hoped Renee hadn't heard that. "Well....Ummm." Kotaro didn't know why he was stuttering.

Renee was pumping her shotgun as Kairo said what he said, so she didn't hear him. She aimed at a fence with the gun, and fired it. She was experimenting with different shaped barrels to get more splash to the sides instead of limited splash all around. It worked, blasting a good chunk of the fence, but the recoil was incredible. The barrel blasted right off and hit the fence, and the shotgun's force made the rest of the gun hit Renee in the gut. She fell over, winded.

"Back to...... the drawing board......" She managed to mutter. She got up as she got her breath back, dusting herself off.
