The doctor looked at Kotaro. "No. The moment Zane finds out, he will be enraged. It's better to kill the clone. Or Zane will - and that's what I think is more harsh. Do you really want the general to kill his own sister, even if it's just a clone?"

Resha stayed quiet. It was kind of hard to really say anything and watched the clone work on the surgery. She was flawless~

"Then why not change her? turn her into someone else, give her a new name." Dante kept trying to think of ways to keep the clone alive.

"Zane's an information broker," the doctor said. "If you really think you can fool him, go ahead, try. But I give you my word, he will find out."

Resha looked at Kotaro. "I don't want to put big brother in such a situation."

The clone continued to work on Renee and Aki. It was smooth, the operation. It was as clean as possible and she was already transplanting the base brain of Aki in Renee, just like how Resha thought of. They really were the same in terms of medical knowledge; the clone was just better at executing them.

"I'll take the risk." He turned to Resha. "If he finds out I'll take the rap. Zane is a good man, but I know what he will do. So if he finds out, I'll kill her myself." He had to force the last part out.

Resha sighed. "I honestly, honestly... honestly... don't want him ever knowing about this," she said. "My honest opinion, I want her dead now..."

The doctor raised her eyebrow. "So now you think the general is a good man? You sure have abrupt opinions."

Clone Resha was placing the artificial parts in place, and inputing the right memories at the right places, in order, to keep her from having an identity crisis. It was perfect.

"I talked to him a while back. He IS a good man, but I know what he would do. Resha, it is mainly your decision. I'm just giving an alternative." He closed his eyes. "If she does die, I want to be the one to do it."

"I want to talk to her first, if you don't mind?" she smiled at Kotaro. "Thank you for your kindness, really. It means a lot."

The doctor shrugged. "You have to admit, that clone is invaluable. Two Reshas? The probability of experiment failures would decrease - meaning less deaths, more successes."

The clone Resha continued to work on the operation, not fazed by the others' conversation. After a while or two, she was already smiling. "Done."

Dante didn't answer back. He just waved his hand. He kept his face blank.

Resha looked at the clone. "Already?" she asked. But the clone only smiled at her. "Of course," she said.

Dante watched as Resha spoke to the clone. His expression remained blank as he closed his eyes.

"Wow, you're really good," Resha smiled at the clone. "You work fast," she walked towards the two patients, closing her eyes at Aki who was now dead and muttered a small thank you as she passed his corpse. "And cleanly. I'm really amazed."

The clone smiled. "Thank you," she said. "But it's because of you too," she said. "I just happened to be more focused on my medical abilities."

She looked at Kotaro. "He has conflicting brainwaves."

"See?" the clone pointed at Kotaro. "Mental stress, emotional stress - it shows," she smiled.

Then she asked something Resha was unable to answer. "So where is big brother? I miss him and I love him very much."

Renee slowly began to wake up, her vision beginning blurry. She, very slowly, sat up and looked around as her vision came into focus

Dante walked out of the room, not even staying to see Renee. He stopped outside near the corner of the hall. his expression was still blank.

Dante looked down the hall, toward the door where they were. He stayed outside as they caught up with each other.

"You've been in a major surgery," she said to Renee and showed her the clone. "She operated on you." And pointed at Aki. "And... he gave you his brain."

She sighed. "And Kotaro is acting weird."

Dante reached into his bag and pulled out the soul stone. He stared at it for a second before replacing it with his locket.

Renee got onto her feet. She instantly fell over and hit her head.

"Oooow... forgot how to walk for a second."

She got up just fine and rubbed her head.
