Emi continued to look through the books, stopping at a few pages to look over their contents.

"I've lived here a long time. You get used to it," Rei shrugged then laughed. "Though I must admit that I ate a lot of their food when I first got here."

She turned to Ace, "And by the look on your face, I see that you do too," she answered, tossing him a donut. "I've been around. Have you been looking for me??"

Returning her attention to Rei, Dwyrin said, "The book you sold me. Is there another volume?? Or something??"

Will walked out of his room, calmed down from the rest. He had feed Durin, so his yapper would be shut for awhile. He went downstairs and absentmindedly organized the books.

Tosh looked up at Will as he ascended down the stairs. "Oh hey Gio!" Tosh called at him waving. She was putting up some books that was organized earlier and took a little break, eating a muffin from the bakery.

"Another volume?" Rei questioned, trying to remember what she had sold Dwyrin. After a moment's silence, she smiled. "Ah, yes, I most certainly do. Just let me find it."

"Aha, me has found it!" Emi began jumping around the room with her book held above her head. "Rei! can me please buy this book?! Pretty please!"

Rei waved at Tosh as she searched through the shelves for the second volume for Dwyrin. "I know I have it; where is it?"

"You want to buy it? There should be a price tag on it. Just give me the amount on it and it's yours, Emi," Rei said, smiling at the flamboyant girl.

"Yesh, me does! Hmm, now where is that price tag.." Emi stopped jumping and began to carefully look the book over searching for the tag.

Rei continued to search the shelf for the book. She was growing frustrated. "I just recently had it," she thought, picking up a book and looking behind it. "I saw it when I got the first one."

"Ohhh! Here it is! And here is the money, mhm!" Emi took out the money the walked up behind Rei. "Is yous looking for something?"

Ace walks into the bakery and takes a seat.

Zayden hurried into the bakery, swift and fast. He stopped in the middle of the room and glanced around before making a beeline for a seat to the right. He sat down in a heap, tapping his fingers and feet.

Ace watched the hurried man sit across the room from him and decided that he was interested.

"Hi there! How are ya?" Ace said and took a seat next to Zayden without asking.

She crouched down at the head of the stairs and peered into the bakery. Ace was sitting there, and he owed her some donuts. Another person walked in and sat down, obviously impatient. Ace - being his usual self - had walked over to the man, and sat at his table as if it wasn't a breach of manners. Dwyrin sat at the top, eavesdropping.

Ace watched as the man ran off.

Ace picked up some bread and stole some butter and began to munch it.

Smiling, she sat in the chair across from him, "Oh yeah?? He left awfully quick." She looked out the door at the back of the retreating man in military blue.

"So, what brings you here??"

"I believe he wasn't feeling well," Ace waved theatrically.

"I was hungry. There's always something interesting going on here, too!" Ace said triumphantly. "Yourself?"

You sat down and suddenly he wasn't feeling well... she snickered mentally at the thought.

"Well, this is the right place to go if you're hungry," she paused, looking around at the pastries enclosed in glass, "I'm here for a book - Rei's looking for it, I think. But now that you're here...Didn't we have something to talk about??"

Ace looked around nervously.

"Um, oh geez, um. What did I do?" Ace stuttered.

"Did you do something??" she rested her chin on her hand. "I wouldn't know."

Dwyrin looked for the best way to phrase what she was about to say. "Due to recent events, I think I'll need a new weapon, and I also think you're just the guy to do it."
