Tosh watched Koatro run upstairs, starting her second steak.

Kotaro entered the library. “There!” He grabbed a nearby note book, and a packet of paper. He then ran to the nearest picture and placed a piece of paper on it. He used his alchemy to copy the picture onto the paper. He then inserted the new picture into the notebook. He continued to do this with every picture he found. When he was sure he had a copy of every picture in the notebook, he went downstairs.

Tosh stares at Kotaro, not sure what the ruckus upstairs was about, There was some of her steak sticking out her mouth.

Kotaro laughs as he sees the steak hanging out of Tosh's mouth. He walks over to her and holds out the book. “Just so your never alone. Just to keep your face free of those tears.” Kotaro smiles and plces the book on the table before walking to a chair and sitting down.

Tosh chews some, taking the book. After chewing some more, she swallows it and opens the book, curious about whats inside.

Kotaro opens his bag, and brings out some jerky. He chews on it whille he waits for Tosh's response.

A large red tailed hawk landed on the windowsill. A letter was tied to it's leg.

Bound with red twine, Tosh's letter was to be delivered with utmost haste. This is why Fang's red tail was perfect for the job.

Tosh hugged Kotaro very tightly, smiling genuinely. "Thank you so much..." she whispered and looked at the hawk walking over. She took the letter from its leg and read it.

Kotaro hugged her back“Dont mention it Tosh.” He turned to seee a hawk walking over as Tosh took a letter from its leg. “What is it Tosh?”

The letter was short, but it's point was proven.
"Dear Tosh,

I am truly sorry for what I did back at the festival. It was wrong for me to pull my gun on you.

But that no longer matters. For I am on what is possibly the most dangerous mission of my life right now. Killing another assassin. If I do not return within a month, let everyone know, I am sorry for what I have done. And tell Resha that I love her.

The message seemed to be written in blood, and that was all that was written.

The hawk screeched and flew off with that, returning to Fang.

Tosh's eyes widened as she handed the note to Kotaro. She stares outside as Fang's hawk flew away. "When you finish reading it, we're going after him. Grab your staff."

Kotaro read the letter, anger building on his face. He grabbed Godai. “Lets go Tosh.” He started out the door.

Kotaro places Tosh on the couch. He walks into the bathroom. As he looks into the mirror, he sees the blood tears. “No, no not know.” Kotaro's eyes turn red. “Stage two.” Kotaro looks at Tosh. “I dont think she can handle another loss.” Kotaro sighs. He writes a note and places it next to Tosh. He then kisses her on the head. “Bye Tosh.” He exits the house, the cat from the clearing staying next to Tosh.

The note was short. It was meant for Tosh's eyes only. It read:

Dear Tosh,
I havve gone back to lior to take care of the homunculas problem. Dont come to help. I have a disease. It slowly changes me, erasing my memory and appearance. Just remember me, and wait.

Tos stares at the note as she read. She hands trembled. She was going to lose another friend. She bit her lip as she picked up the cat that was around him when he played that song.

Tosh bursts through the door, leaving it open and sat Kotaro on the couch. She ran into the kitchen and comes back with a bucket of water and a few cloths. Wetting one of them, she squeezes out teh water, folding it and then sets it on his forehead.
