Tosh kept her head down, not wanting Kotaro to see her sadness even more.

Kotaro wouldnt let go. "Tosh, its Ok. Its Ok to show your sadness. It makes you human. Tosh, look at me." Kotaro didnt want Tosh to be sad. She was the closest thing he had to family. "Tosh, please."

Tosh opened her eyes slightly before looking up slowly at Kotaro. Her eyes shimmered with tears.

Kotaro looked her in the eyes, seeing the deep sadness that had laid dormant. "Tosh, Its Ok. Your parents would be proud of you. You have great friends, excluding me." Kotaro knew his past would rise questions, but he would answer that later. "Tosh, listen, the important thing is that you remember them." Kotaro noticed his photobook on the nearby table. "Here, let me show you something." He got up, and retrieved the book.

Tosh blinks at him, wiping away her tears, sniffling some and remaining quiet.

Kotaro sat down next to Tosh and opened the book. "This is a photo album I keep in my bag. Its all I have left of my family, all I have left to remember." Kotaro turned the pages showing pictures of his mother father and sister. "It hurts Tosh, There will always be times when you feel down about it, but as long as you remember them, they are always with you." He looked her in the eyes again. "Just remember them Tosh. They would be proud of you. Just smile and wipe those tears. I dont know anyone who would enjoy seeing you like this" He closed the book. "Please Tosh, just be happy." Kotaro hugged her close, tears going down his eyes.

Tosh examined all the photos, feeling terrible for acting as such. She looked down from the album, understanding his words but still felt bad. She settles when Kotaro hugs him, closing her eyes. "I'm such an idiot...." she mumbled to herself, inaudible.

Kotaro Stood up and put the book in his bag, tears still on his eyes. "I need a moment Tosh. I'll be upstairs." Kotaro walked slowly up the stairs, tears still running down his face. Just be happy Tosh, please.

Tosh yawns, sitting up from the couch and stretching from her nap. Her stomach grumbled fiercely but she just ignored it, climbing out off the couch.

Kotaro stood in the upstairs hallway. He was tired, hungry, and sad. He hadnt slept all night. “I hope Tosh is fine.” Kotaro let out a long sigh. “I always feel better after looking at this album. I wonder if it worked for Tosh?” Kotaro walked down the stairs, thinking about his family.

Tosh went besides the window, gazing outside at the blue sky. She birds fly by, making her smile.

Kotaro walked down the steps, walking into the front room. He saw Tosh by the window, staring at the sky. Kotaro walked over to her. He glanced at the sky before noticing Tosh was smiling. Kotaro also smiled, but said nothing, not wanting to break her moment.

Kotaro looks at Tosh and his stomach growls too. “Well, looks like we need to find some food.” Kotaro walks to the kitchen. “Anything specific you want?”

Kotaro pened the fridge. There was 3 pieces of steak in the back. “Steak it is.” Kotaro took out the steak, then, reaching in his bag, pulled out a piece of green paper with a T.circle on it. “This way, we dont have to wait.” Kotaro placed the frozen steaks on the paper, along with some spices from his bag. He clapped his hands and placed them on the paper. A moment later, 3 large steaks, cooked and spiced, were on a plate. He took the plates and placedd them on the table. “Bon appetite!”

Tosh's eyes widened and she drooled a waterfall before jumping on the table, eating one of the steaks.

Kotaro sat down and began to eat a steak. “You really like steak.” he said, watching Tosh devour a large piece.

Kotaro finished his steak and placed the plate in the sink. Suddenly he had an idea. He quickly ran upstairs.
