His words surprised him, even though she knew it shouldn't. Zane was a former general, that information cannot be hidden from the public. But she did know that her as his sister was not supposed to be common knowledge.

"You knew?" she blinked. "Since when?"

He looked her in the eyes as he said this, "The brotherhood is always watching. We had known for a while that Zane had a sister named Resha, and it is a very uncommon name. As soon as you said your name, I knew you were Zane's little sister."
Eltore then pulled out a rose, three black petals, 3 white. It had bloomed perfectly, and he gave it to Resha. "The assassin's are a deadly creed. And as you finish this test, you will be one step closer to being one. Just as this rose, is not without it's thorns. Beauty, and the blades."

Her mouth formed an 'O'. Amazed at the fact they knew. "What else do you know about my big brother??" she asked - anything she could know, especially how is now would be a bigger relief to her anxiety.

She took the rose, amazed again. "So pretty," she said - then she remembered the flower Fang gave her and she took it out. "Look, look, Fang gave me this!" she said and held it out for him. "The brotherhood is into botany too?" It was a very innocent question.

"You will find out later. We cannot give you all the information until you have passed the test."
Eltore looked at Fang's rose. He was stunned. Fang...such a charmer...
"Actually, Fang, myself, and my two guards--Alisa and Lucio--are the only ones who are interested in flowers at all."

At his words, she became determined. "Oh! Okay," she said sheepishly. "Then I will do my very best!"

She saw him stare at the rose Fang gave her, looking surprised. "Whyyy?" she asked, "It's pretty!"

She smiled. "Well, if that's so - then I'm sure all of you have gentle souls beneath that rough exterior," she grinned. "Even scary Alisa."

Eltore smirked at her again, and resumed walking. "You're all over the place. As for gentle souls, Alisa, Lucio and myself believe the greatest mercy is death. But mercy is given only to those who cannot stand on their own legs, or at least it is seen as that. That is why Alisa was outraged at Fang's death, and also why she always challenges me to duels. Against her, I win a good %60 of the time. Fang won against everyone... Requiescat in pace, my old friend..."
He looked sadden by the thoughts of his old friend. His face was soon shadowed by his hood.

She followed him when he started walking. "I am?" she said, not noticing. "Ohh, that's a hard thing to live by but if that's how you work best," she grinned and pumped a fist on the air. Alisa really is scary! "I'll just have to work harder! But I don't need mercy," she stuck out a tongue. "So don't kill me. Teehee."

She offered a small prayer in her mind for Fang. He had good friends, and she smiled at the thought.

"I wont. Alisa might, but she sees that you have something to live up to."
They turned into another hallway, then Eltore opened a door on the left.
The room was half the size of the training room. Still, pretty big compared to the other rooms. There were 4 beds, and many shelves. On each one was another weapon. Infront of the shelves, there were large chests, each filled with crossbow bolts or throwing knives. "Feel free to sleep here. Lucio, Alisa, and I all sleep in the same room. I have the extra bed in here just in case I have a guest."

"You all sleep in here?" she blinked. "I feel as if I'm intruding."
The room was pretty. It seemed practical and convenient too.

"You are a guest. Do not feel you intrude. Besides, this is the safest room in the house."
Eltore looked around then whispered in Resha's ear, "Besides, you gotta see how harmless Alisa looks when she is getting ready for bed!"

Resha laughed. "Eltore!" she couldn't help it, she kept on laughing. "That's wow!" she grinned. "Totally didn't expect you'd say that! Teehee! Then okay, thank you!"

She looked forward to sleeping time because of that. xD

Alisa walked in. "Signora, Signore. Do not forget that now is time to ready for bed. The curfew is in place after all." Lucio stepped in not far behind, and Alisa walked into their bathroom to change. "Do not worry Signora, this curfew is in place for a little longer. It is not routine," Lucio assured Resha.

Just as Lucio finished his statement, Alisa walked in, wearing a pink nightgown with lace trim. Lucio's jaw had dropped. "Idiote. You see me like this every night," Alisa scolded him. She then slipped into her bed, pulling her light covers over her. "Good night Signora, Signore."

Eltore snickered. "Good night, Alisa. Lucio, you get ready for bed too. And stop checking out Alisa."
Lucio did as he was told, blushing at Eltore's last comment. On the other hand, Alisa steamed with Eltore's last comment.

Resha's jaw dropped. Alisa was so pretty! And she voiced it like it is. "Alisa is so preeeeeeeeeeeetty! That was such a nice nightgown!" she felt a bit sad she went to bed already. But she decided that annoying her might result to her early death and she couldn't have that.

She turned to Eltore. "Oh, okay!" she grinned and giggled at Lucio. "Are they together?"

Lucio came out of the bathroom in a black shirt and pj pants, blushing at Resha's last comment. Alisa decided to speak, just to embarrass Lucio farther. "No, we aren't together. He's just obsessed over me, and he's totally not my type. Besides, you and Eltore would make a much cuter couple. And thank you, I rather like the nightgown myself. Seeing as it cost me 30 grand to get it..."

As Lucio sulked to bed, Eltore blushed. "Alisa! You sure? Sure Lucio might be a bit of a ditz, (HEY!) but you two would be a cute couple," Eltore suggested.

Resha laughed, finding it nice to see them argue and stuff. It made her feel fuzzy - they were really, really close, she concluded and that thought alone made her feel happy.

"Aww, that's too bad," she grinned. "I thought you two would suit each other well! And wow, 30 grand," she blinked. They're rich.

Lucio pulled a pillow over his head, trying to sleep, while Alisa and Eltore burst out laughing. "Thirty grand isn't much here, Resha. Alisa's just cheap. 30 is chump change," Eltore laughed, laughing even harder at Resha's expression.
Alisa then got up and kissed Resha's cheek. "Good night Signora. I hope you enjoy your time here at the brotherhood."
Before Resha went red or anything, Eltore informed her, "It is tradition for superior's to kiss the recruit's cheek for a reminder that they're not alone. We all stand together."

Resha blinked. "Really? To be honest," she smiled. "I don't know much about money - my big brother handled everything and only when he left was I able to go out of the base. Given that I sneak out anyway!" she grinned.

She blinked when Alisa kissed her. So she can be gentle and nice and not scary! "Oh, I see!" she smiled. "Even in the lips?" O.O

Eltore laughed, "Look, for most people, 30 grand is a lot, but the longer you stay here, the more you'll make."
Alisa shot Eltore a look. "You didn't..."

Resha smiled. "Money isn't that important to me," she said. "All I want is to find my brother."

She blinked at Alisa's scary look at Eltore. She grew confused. "What? What? D:"

Eltore ran into the bathroom, trying to avoid Alisa's glare. He quickly changed and hid in the closet.
Alisa clapped her hand onto Resha's shoulder, she had the same scar on her left hand that Eltore had. "Resha, I think Eltore likes you. And I mean like likes you."

Resha grew red and stuttered. "Wha-what?" she blinked, and looked at Alisa greatly confused. "But-but we just met and-and," she briefly glanced to where Eltore ran to but she couldn't see him and look back at Alisa. "How is that possible??"

Alisa smiled. "You two are both just big kids. I can see it. But Eltore has only once acted like this before, and that was with me. I broke up with him after our third date. He's not my type. But you two... you would work. But I will tell you this, Zane is avoiding you. He does watch over you from a distance, but he refuses to meet you face to face. Signora Resha, for your own mental stability, stop hunting for your brother. He will find you. Focus on your own life."

Eltore walked out of the bathroom, he wore a similar outfit to Lucio, only his was a black shirt, and white pants. "Good night Resha, Alisa, Lucio," he said, jumping into his bed and pulling the covers over his head.

Resha looked away, her words stung to her heart heavily - just like when Keixth told her about her brother not wanting to see her. And she said it with so much conviction and so blatantly she didn't know how to react.

I think she really is merciless. she sobbed in her mind. "But wait - how do you know that?!"

Flustered, she bowed good night to Eltore, but kept her gaze onto Alisa.

Alisa went to bed and the lights in the entire building went out. "Resha, the Brotherhood knows a lot. Not all of this you will want to know. Now please, go to bed. Your training starts tomorrow morning."

Resha couldn't help but feel annoyed but she went to bed anyway, after going to the bathroom, that is.

"They really know a lot," she murmured to herself. "But if what she says is true, would brother eventually find out about me joining this?"

She then headed to bed and slept, still confused.
