Tosh handed her the bag of goodies she made for Renee. she shifted some asked that question. "Well...." she said looking down at her tea.

Tosh feeling bad, just swallowed the lump in her throat. "My...one of my friends......died recently..." she finally said, feeling the threat of tears coming on.

Tears streamed from Tosh's eyes. "No it wasn't! I couldn't did anything just like the last time!!" Tosh suddenly remembered Fang's death.

Renee sighed.

"Your both the same......" Renee was ready to just give up.

"You tried to help him, and he helped you. Would you want to know he died in vain instead?"

Zane entered the store, hearing a wailing sound. He wasn't there to look for a weapon, but he saw Toshii and it piqued his interest.

"Hm?" he probably came at a wrong time but that didn't bother him so much.

He looked at the other girl and blinked. Hm, isn't she that gunner?

Renee heard the bell ring and turned towards Zane. She patted Tosh and waked over to him.

"May I help you?"

He stared at her for a while before shrugging; he pulled his hat down, to cover more of his face. "Ah, just saw an acquaintance."

Zane did a side glance at the weaponry. He wasn't interested in guns but he had to admit that they seemed to be in high quality.

Renee blinked before scratching the back of her neck.

"Are you Zane, by any chance?"

"Why do you ask?" he queried, not moving from his spot. Does she recognize me?

"I just remember Resha telling me about him, and I remember seeing someone like you in the vents of the Chimera lab, and thought it may have been you."

Renee shuffled her feet.

Ah, that. I almost forgot about that. Well, at least she didn't recognize that I was once her superior.

"Yeah, so?" he didn't mean to sound rude but that was generally how he spoke anyway. "How is she?"

Renee hesitated for a second.

"She's doing well, yeah. Recently had to perform surgery on me, and is now trapped in the Medical Military Base."

She thought about how she just said that.

"Not trapped, but, she's not allowed to leave."

"Ah," he nodded. He knew it was a matter of time before she was taken back; she was needed and he had ordered to keep her in there anyway. "That's good."

He then looked at her. "Perform a surgery on you? Ah, right. Maintenance, yeah? I don't know the specifics - that's her job - but--," he shook his head. There was no point in telling her what she probably already knows.

"Why so hesitant or nervous? I'm not going to kill you."

"No reason." Renee said. "Im just recovering from the surgery, and its not every day I get a customer." Renee was actually being truthful. Till recently, her gunshop was rarely visited.

"Not even military soldiers visit here."

Kotaro walked into the store and saw Renee talking with somebody. “Guess I will have to wait to tell her what I found.” Kotaro leaned against the wall, his eyes scanning the one she was talking to. “Thats Resha's brother, Zane.” Kotaro felt a little worried. Last time he had seen Zane, he was being chased by the military. Had he heard of the trial yet?

He shrugged. Well, you used to threaten every little military men who nears you... why does she seemed so surprised?

Then it hit him. Ah, the surgery. No wonder she wasn't going on a rampage seeing a guy in her store.

"A dwindling shop then," he commented, not one to care for tact. Then he noticed a newcomer. Kotaro but ignored him for now. Recently, the military has contacted him for a job and he was informed of the circumstances that happened to his sister.

“I'll buy it.” Kotaro blurted it out as soon as Renee had said sell. He walked up to her. “I own a weapon shop in Xing. I have experiance with business.” He turned to look at Zane. “Been a while.” was all he said.
