Dante glanced at Kinai. "Last I checked your barren land fared none to well against Amestris. As a criminal, you have no authority even in your home country."

He shook his head "Kotaro don't test me" He said. He refers the man to kotaro because that is hwta he previously knew him as

"Its been a long time Kinai. Things have changed. They always do." He said looking out to his men. "There was a time I never would have rejoined. But that also has changed. Where were you when it all happened? Rotting in a jail."

He chuckled slighty "Yes and it is about time I am out." He continued to laugh "and actually I could have got out but i needed to push my mental and physical abilities while in there"

"To the point of insanity?" Dante asked glancing at him. "You subject yourself to these 'training' routines thinking it will make you better. Your wrong Kinai." He said looking back toward his men. "I should know."

Dante waved a hand. "If you want your body to rot while your still alive that's your choice." A soldier came running to Dante. "Sir! We've established a perimeter and made contact with command on the radio! They are awaiting your report!" Dante nodded and turned to Kinai. "Careful Kinai. The world isn't how it used to be." He said before walking over to his tent.

When he reached it he took the phone. "This is Lieutenant Kuya, Lightnings Pain alchemist."-------"Yes sir, we have made the camp."-------"One person was found. Kinai."----------"I will sir." He hung up the phone and stared at it.

Kinai wasn't really trying to listen to the conversation but he heard his name mention. At first he didnt say anything but he was ready incase something was going to go down "So?" He just said as he slipped a throwing knife into his hand

Dante looked at Kinai and shook his head. "Apparently......They want your help in rebuilding the fort..." He said.

He sat there for a moment thinking "What if I don't? Are they going to threaten me or something?"

Dante shook his head. "Apparently, they want you too watch over it. Be the one in charge." Dante sighed, still looking at the phone. "And they are willing to drop your bounty."

He looks up with an emotionless expression "so that means I will be free." He says with a pause "Yet it took me a good minute to get it up that high" He said with a laugh

"Kinai, your bounty lowered when you were in jail." e said with a smirk. And anyway, if you accept, you could use the fort for anything."

He chuckled "You don't think I knew that?" He stood to his feet and walked up standing next to kotaro "You do know when this base is completed then it probably won't be long before it falls" He said with a wicked grin

"The base we reside in is only temporary. The main thing is the fort." Dante said, eyes closed. "Now do you accept or not?"

He thinks for a moment "You think I should>?" He asked with a puase "I could kill all your soldiers raising my bounty and good bit or wait until the fort is finished and destroy it but then i would start from sqquare one on my bounty"

"Try it and the temple will be reduced to rubble." Dante said without a hint of emotion. "And you will have to face me."

He chuckled "You know that doesn't bug me. Me and you have fought before. But if you touch the temple the next time we face i won't hesitate to kill you. " he said still with a smile

"And last time we fought was a long time ago. While your pathetic caracass rotted in jail, I suffered physically, mentally, and emotionaly. I also increased my alchemic and combat skills." He took a drink from his canteen. "And your pathetic threat means nothing to me."

He continued to laugh "I told you I have also trained my body and mental abilities. I was held mostly in the Aerugo Prison." He said with a pause "there the guards pitted us prisoners against each other to the death." He continued" there were more and mroe prisoners coming in everday but by the time I was transferred prisons their were less prisoners and less guards" He said as he started to laugh

"And tell me, were you killing those you cared about?" Dante said with a grim face. "Did you kill any Ishvalans?"

"No" he said as he stopped laughing "Well atleast not the pure bloods"

"Yet your not pure yourself." Dante said. "You killed you own kind in a multitude of ways. Your just a hypocrite who deserves to be punished just as much as you think the military should." Dante looked down. "I killed Kairo and my sister Lira. I nearly killed Tosh and Resha."
