"Well, we should be approaching central at any time now." Takashi said as they cross into the border.

"Say Kotaro, how were you able to live this long?" Tosh asked him out of the blue. She was quite curious to know more about him than she already has.

Dante looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Didn't I tell you before?" He asked. He sighed. "The original Kotaro was a soldier and scientist from during the Isvalan war. As you can probobly tell, I used to be a lot more cruel then I am now. After some time, the original was killed by his own soldiers, and his body recovered by scientists. They put his body into a special cloning program, ran by Garsher and the head scientist was a very young Resha." He said.

"Resha was also responsible for cloning Renee, who was just a little girl when it happened. I was meant to replace her but I retained some memories. They wiped both mine and Renee's memories as well as Resha's because she was getting too close to us. It took years to create me, so I just am remembering everything, and I'm older then I look. My body ages a bit slower due to the cloning project."

He looked at her. "Anymore questions?"

Tosh never realized that Resha was also in charge of creating him and Renee. "I didn't know you guys been through so much together.." she said, pondering on it some more.

"We didn't even remember it till recently." Dante said. "And its caused a lot of problems in the military because of the project being found out. Us remembering it was something they hadn't counted on."

"Oh no... what were they gonna do?" she asked next, sittng up some.

"First they tried to cover it up, like they did with the human chimera." Dante said shaking his head. "But after they found that impossible, it was unclassified and made public. Soon they came after me. After a bit I managed to make myself free and they cut off all they could from me in order to keep from going through court with evidence against them. Then they went after Renee once she appeared at one of my hearings. One recognized her and planned to kill her." He shook his head. "It was stopped but Resha was one last thing they wanted quiet." He gritted his teeth. "They couldn't kill her, so instead they decided to make it harder for her to remember."

Tosh immediately lifted her head in disbelief. "That's terrible!! All this just to cover up..." Tosh shook her head before looking down in thought.

"yeah, it was." he said nodding. When Tosh looked down he turned to her. "Something wrong?" he asked.
