Dante shook his head. "I think I'm going to leave." He said.

Takashi immediately stopped the jeep, looking back to Dante. "What?"

Dante looked up at Takashi. "I'm going to leave. I just bring trouble to everyone around me."

Tosh stirred some as she still laid asleep.

Takashi sighed. "Kotaro, Tosh even told me herself. Most of the dangers that have involved you, was of her own free will. She throws herself into the fire to protect you."
Tosh scooted in closer to Dante.

The words that Dante wanted to say weren't going tto appear. Ever since he had met Tosh, she had done nothing but help and show him kindness. She always put herself in danger in an effort to save everyone. Including him.

She knew everything about him, all the things he had done, every sin commited. From his past, and the present.

Why did she give him such kindness? Kindness he didn't deserve. No matter what he did to atone for his sins.

He thought back to the first time they met. Back in Ishval. Even then there was kindness. When he merged back with Motaro. When he told her of his past.

when he told her he loved her.

Everytime she helped she suffered in some way. All because of him. And every time she forgave him, or said it wasn't his fault.

These were words that couldn't be true.

As she scooted next to him he feltt his jaw tighten. He felt as if he couldn't speak. Words finally passed the blockage in his throat.

"I don't want to leave....." He said looking down, eyes closed. "......But i must.....to keep her safe......" He pulled her close to him, holding her tightly. "......I can't let her get hurt because of me....." Silent tears fell down his face. ".....Whether its her decision or not."

"Then don't..." Tosh whispered gently to Dante, feeling one of his tears come onto her cheek.

Takashi been had his eyes back on the road, having a smile as well.

"Say Kotaro..." Tosh began as she sat up a bit, looking into Dante's eyes deeply. "How long are you going to stay?"

Takashi's grin wavered a bit as he kept driving.

Dante stiffened as Tosh asked him the question. How long was he going to stay? Was she reading his mind or something. "As long as necassary."
